Koh Thai Noodle — Restaurant in Plymouth

Dissapointed duck tamarind tasted only of soy sauce, sauce thin and watery over all taste of salt no flavour or aroma of tamarind, squid was very good. See ew dish was hot on collection but again dissapointing only flavour over shadowed by the saltiness. Veg was fresh chicken was tender but sadly far too salty maybe too much msg was used ?

Thank you for your response to my comments, it wasn't meant to offend, perhaps the see ew dish was more a personal taste thing, as I'll say again the vegetables and chicken in the dish were fresh and the meat was tender.

It's great to read you don't use MSG For anyone who loves the strong flavour of soy sauce and texture of vegetables and meat it would be a 10 out of 10 so my review might even encourage others to order. I would like to try some of your other dishes. Regards to the Duck Tamarind when my companion has bought this dish from you in the past it has had a much stronger flavour of Tamarind and has always been her favourite dish, she raved about the squid she ordered she gave a , 10/10 but was simply left wanting more Tamarind flavour with the Duck. My and my partner have been ordering from there for nearly 2 years and yesterday we ordered for delivery and as usual as we live on a uni campus we asked for it to be delivered to reception as they refuse to come into the uni. However this time they left our food with someone random at reception and didn’t call us or tell us it had arrived. I call up to check to be told it arrived half an hour ago and just left in reception. I advised that we didn’t get a call to tell us the driver was here so we can collect our food. The lady I spoke to I believe her name was Jazmin was beyond rude she shouted saying that it was my responsibility to get the food and o tried to explain how was o to know it had arrived if o wasn’t contacted and she hung up the phone on me. I am absolutely appalled and shocked at how they have handled this, absolutely shocking customer service. It’s your responsibility to make sure the food arrives to your customer. Me and my partner will not be ordering from there again which is such a shame because the food is lovely, but the fact that they handled this situation so badly has completely put us off. Fantastic food, we arrived shortly after they opened today and was greeted by a very friendly face who offered us help in choosing what we wanted as we’d not been before, we were also told there may be a short delay on some of the dishes that required the fryer as it was still heating up which I thought was good service, we weren’t in a hurry but had we been that would have been very helpful, we were given prawn crackers whilst we waited which was a nice touch. We had our fussy 8 year old with us and took the recommendation of street noodles for him, I can confirm they were freshly cooked as we were offered the option of removing anything he didn’t like from them, which was fantastic and meant I didn’t have any moaning in fact my son gave them 11/10 and was very happy.
