Came here today with my friend after the place being suggested and I was not disappointed. From the moment we stepped inside the staff were very welcoming and so friendly. I had the 2 meals for £18 I chose the garlic mushrooms for starter and the creamy garlic chicken and both meals were delicious we got complimentary bread and butter which I used to mop up the garlic sauce from the mushrooms (I will say tho it is extremely garlicy so not recommended if you like a little garlic but I loved it partner not loving it from me ATM tho lol) the creamy garlic chicken again was strong in garlic flavour but the cream in the sauce helped and paired with the rice it was a lovely meal and will definitely be going again x

Really disappointed we've been loads of times and it's always been brilliant.....the chips were burnt and just on the plate not in the lovely basket they usually come out in.the steak pie was swimming in gravy and had no veg with it. There was only one choice of pudding and the wafer was soggy! The place smelt of wee and it seemed so very different from our previous visits .....sad but we won't go back

Love the food here. My wife and rarely come to Plymouth but when we do Zeus is a must for us. Such great quality food even if Greek isn't your thing and awsome value, we always leave very full and satisfied. Staff couldn't do more for you if they tried! Never had a bad word to say about the place.

(Detailed review below) Food & Drink ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Ambience ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Accessibility ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Cost ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Service ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Summary ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Food & Drink 4/5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good menu, although due to COVID-19, some items were not available - I won't mark them down for that. The food was very good, with one of our party ordering the small fillet steak and getting an absolute massive hunk of meat - it must have been close-dated or something and they needed to sell it, but she was very pleased with it. The beef stifado that I had was excellent and a decent-sized portion. Take a big appetite for this one!

Ambience 4/5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐ We visited on a Tuesday early evening and because of the COVID-19 "Eat Out to Help Out" offer of 50% off the bill Mon-Wed, it was fairly busy. However, the restaurant has been well laid out to cope with social distancing while maintaining a good ambience.

Accessibility 4/5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐ The entrance and seating area are wheelchair accessible and on the same level and the toilets are also on the same level, with it being advertised as "disabled friendly".

Cost 4/5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐ The cost of the food and drinks was in line with what I would expect to pay for a restaurant meal in Plymouth. The bill came to ~£160 for 4 people, but I think the drinks pushed that price up a bit, so all-in-all it was fair.

Service 4/5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐ The service was perfectly good with friendly, knowledgeable staff. The waiter with the Northern Accent was humorous and enjoyed a bit of banter with us "oldies".

Summary 4/5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐ I don't think I've been to Zeus before, yet it one of Plymouth's most established restaurants. It was a pleasurable meal and overall experience, and I will...

Me and the other half came here over the weekend, I had been once before but he had never been. We hadn't booked, however we were warmly welcomed the minute we stepped foot in the door. We asked to sit outside, as it was a nice evening and this was no problem. We were seated and the lovely lady (didn't catch her name) was just brilliant and so accommodating. Nothing was an issue, and we were seated next to the plants in which she informed us a robin had made a little nest for it's babies and it was so sweet. We both had steak, my partner had the rib eye and I had the sirloin and it was incredible. MASSIVE portions and the chips are to die for, perfectly cooked with some amazing little crispies (as we call them). I have never had such an amazing customer experience, the lady who served us on Saturday evening (14th June) truly is a credit to this team, every day since we have been we have been kicking ourselves that we didn't have any cash to tip and didn't think about card tipping. Anytime we are down in the Plymouth area, I just know we...

I really like eating at zeus. The food is always cooked beautifully. Exactly as ordered and plenty of it. The lovely tasting meals are very reasonably priced, especially the special 1,2 or 3 courses plus they are happy to mix & match to accommodate your choice of food if requested. The restaurant is not to posh but they did gave me nice respectful service. The staff didnt hover nor ignore me either. The only down side is that some of the tables are not in a very nice area. There is a particular 2 person table that has menus behind it on a ledge n if you sit there the staff have to constantly invade your space to get them. There are also tables near the back door which are subjected to a blast of cold air everytime that they are used, which was fairly often. So in winter time it's not a very nice area to be sat but in hot weather it would be lovely but I would still highly recommend a visit just be aware of...
