👋 I recently visited Coffee Cup Eastney and overall, I had a decent experience. The coffee was great, and the view was fantastic. It's definitely a great place to stop by if you're looking for a quick caffeine fix or a sweet treat. However, there was one thing that could have been better. 👍 Pros: ☕ The coffee was top-notch, and the baristas were friendly and knowledgeable. 🍰 The selection of cakes was nice, and everything looked delicious. 🌅 The view of the beach was breathtaking, and it's the perfect spot to relax and enjoy the scenery. 👎 Cons: 💰 It's a bit pricey compared to other coffee shops in the area. In terms of the positives, the coffee was exceptional. The baristas were friendly and knowledgeable, and they made a great cup of coffee. The selection of cakes was also quite nice, and everything looked delicious. In addition, the view of the beach was simply breathtaking. It's the perfect spot to relax and enjoy the scenery. However, the prices are a bit higher than other coffee shops in the area. This may be a drawback for some customers who are looking for a more affordable option. Overall, Coffee Cup Eastney is a decent coffee shop with great coffee, fantastic views, and a nice selection of cakes. However, if you're on a tight budget, it may not be the best option for you.

What a great find! No idea how I've missed it before? This cafe is right on the beach. It's not too busy as it's at the far end away from the crowds at the fair, pier etc. We took some kites to fly and found it then. We sat outside at the back of the café facing the sea. We had some snacks including the best cheese on toast I've ever had, it was just perfect for a cold windy day and my daughter had a milkshake that she declared to be one of the best ever! There is a little play bit for children. I have to admit it's not great outside at the back for wheelchairs. The tables and chairs were fixed wooden benches so no way to use a wheelchair but I did notice a table that had a wheelchair space at the front of the cafe. I will go back and check it out soon. I loved it and will be going back again this weekend. They sold an excellent latte which is a huge achievement these days. My only tip, if you don't like birds then sit inside. They aren't daft and will sit right next to you looking at you sadly as you eat..and definitely don't accidentally drop your toast as it will be gone in a flash!

Great coffee shop - extremely nice staff - well made and great tasting coffee. Very cosy as the log burner was lit. I ordered a coffee and was given a buzzer and told to take a seat after 5 min my buzzer went off and I could collect my coffee. This worked very well as it stopped a build up of customers around the till area. There is also a take away window. This is great as it again spreads the queue and believe me this little coffee shop gets busy. We stayed in a motorhome on the seafront for a few days and also witnessed how busy it gets. It is the middle of winter and there is a queue at the take away window constantly (but people are not waiting long) There is also a children's play area and an area for dogs that is very popular. There is outside seating aswell. The only reason I would leave 4 stars for food is due to the price. It is a little steep. For instance over £2 (I think it was £2.30) I paid for 2 ginger prepacked biscuits weighing 30grams. But over all it is a really great little coffee shop and would use regularly when I'm here. Toilet is clean and well stocked.

Poor management, poor customer service and an unnecessary long wait time.

Visited the coffee cup today to grab a coffee at the outside service till, before a walk along the beach. After waiting and realising it had been around 25 minutes in a queue that didn’t warrant any where near that long of a wait, and we were still no closer to being served. I went inside, to see if the queue in there was moving any faster, to see 3 staff members working behind that service desk which had a queue less busy than the queue outside. There was only one young lad serving at the outside service desk where we were waiting and he was very slow.

I informed the staff inside of how long the wait was outside and suggested that the poor lad on his own at the front could do with some help and support, since there was so many staff inside and he was alone, Only to be greeted with nothing but bad attitude by the man at the till and told ‘what do you want?’ ‘everyone is waiting’.

To put only one member of staff, and who is very slow on his own on a busy outside service area and put multiple people on another service area that is not busier is bad management.

After already spending 25+ minutes waiting for a coffee and not for seeing getting one any sooner than another 10 minutes, we left to enjoy our walk and went to Southsea beach cafe instead who were much quicker and better managed.

If this was my business I would not be happy with how things were...
