Festing — Restaurant in Portsmouth

Needed a dog friendly pub with sports. Searched quite a few. Complex problem as me and son are Chelsea fans so wanted to watch the Leicester v Chelsea game at 12.30....then husband is a Wimbledon fan, and he and son had tickets for Fratton Park. Plus we had one of our dogs. Very friendly pub, very clean and felt welcome. Lovely decor and big bonus as accidentally found the beach nearby for half time walk with dog. Lovely dog friendly staff. Much nicer than the Google pictures. Fantastic. Only 4 star as didn't eat.Thank you.

A perfect place to see a game. Many tv's good quality,really nice staff always with a smile on theyr faces. Quite spatious,not to expensive,over 18's until 7 o'clock if i recall corectly. They have a "garden" for a smoke if one needed. The doormans are always polite and professional. The prices are moderate,they have live bands sometimes. Peanuts and crisps as snacks,and pizza hut next to them,and you can buy pizza and eat in the pub. I will definitely...

I went to watch the first England world cup game there yesterday and I was soaked in lager by some louts who continuously shouted obscenity at the television all night. I found it particularly offensive when they began to chant: put an ounce on the table, ounce on the table over and over again.
