What a brilliant little restaurant.

The food quality is amazing, the service was brilliant.

You get a family feel in this restaurant so not sure if it's family run - but it seemed that way at least.

We eat out regularly and what a surprise, this place is possibly one of the best restaurants in Portsmouth, if not the BEST Italian.

We ordered the below, cooked to perfection:

Warm sourdough & ciabatta bread

Fresh Steamed Mussels with wedges of baked ciabatta

Filetto con Salsa al Pepe chargrilled 8oz fillet steak with a cracked black pepper, brandy, mushroom & cream sauce, roasted cherry tomatoes & tenderstem broccoli, served with choice of sautéed potatoes or chips

Penne con Pollo e Parma chicken, parma ham & mushrooms in a creamy spring onion & parmesan sauce

Simply put: The food is amazing and service is great.

Never having been here before we just stubled across the place thinking that it was some sort of cafe. It really is much more than that, though to be fair it does not look brilliant when walking by the place. I am so glad that we stopped by though.

We had a large seafood platter to share which was pelnty of food for two as a main course. Every item on the platter was done to perfection. The Italian bread with olives in was really nice as well.

The staff are friendly, nice and helpful. The tables are all kept clean.

Not been here before but will definitely be back . It's so nice to go to a restaurant and get served a. Decent amount of food for your money ( no rush to McDonald's after here ) good was extremely tasty . I had the penne diavilo and sardines starter and both were great portions. My step father really enjoyed his carbonara and my wife and brother raved about how good theirs food was. . We came Saturday night and service was really good . Our young waitress was efficient and friendly and did a great job . Definitely recommend here and will be back with more friends...
