Due to no response via email - Dear Event Organizer/Management Team I am writing to express my disappointment with the Justin Bieber Brunch event held on November 9th in Portsmouth. I had high expectations for what was advertised as a fun and enjoyable experience, but unfortunately, it fell far short of what was promised. Firstly, the food provided was of extremely poor quality. Our burgers were very bland, cold, or tasted stale, and somewhat represented a ‘rustlers burger look a like from Poundland fridge’ which was unacceptable for an event of this nature. Guests paid a premium for this experience, and the food should have been a highlight, not a letdown. Secondly, the service throughout the event was painfully slow. It took an excessive amount of time for food and drinks to be served, and staff appeared overwhelmed and unorganized. We had been informed that drinks would start for 14:00, this was followed by our drinks being given at 14:45. Not to mention the wrong drinks being given, multiple times. This led to frustration among attendees and detracted from the overall atmosphere of the event. Walking into the event at 1:25/1:28 staff eating behind the bar I asked if the event was taking place and the response was “yeah I guess so” Lastly, the state of the facilities was appalling. The toilets were flooded, without locks and unusable for much of the event, creating an unsanitary and uncomfortable environment for guests. This should have been addressed promptly, yet the issue persisted for the duration of the brunch. However, I would like to commend one member of your staff, Emma, who stood out with her professionalism and empathy. Despite the challenges, Emma was very apologetic and did her best to address guests’ concerns. Her attitude and effort were appreciated in an otherwise disappointing experience. Overall, the event was poorly managed and failed to meet even the most basic standards. I would appreciate it if you could provide an explanation for these issues, as well as outline how you intend to compensate attendees for such a disappointing experience. I look forward to your prompt response. regards, Jordan stevens

My friend booked the Ibiza White Party for my hen do with 14 of us in total. It was a mess from the start. A few days before the event they changed the times and food menu which meant on the day there was an issue with the choices so my friend had to have something else. Food served in cardboard bowls. They did give us 2 bottles of Prosecco (between 12 people) we said we were disappointed with the changes but then saw every other table with the same. There weren’t enough seats for us so I had 3 friends in a corner table near us. Wasn’t very inclusive and fun when it was for a celebration. The DJ asked us what music we wanted. He shouldn’t be asking what we want. He should play what’s advertised. He had no vibes at all and when I asked half way through for him to play Ibiza anthems he rudely said they were on the playlist. The advertisement said it would be Ibiza DJs but it was just the normal Drift DJ. The drinks service was absolutely shocking. We asked for jugs to make things quicker and easier for the staff and to maximise the drinks given the large party. They said they couldn’t do jugs so we ordered a round of the same drinks. Ended up having 2 each in the space of 45 minutes. The other table was getting served much quicker and when we questioned this we were told they had a different server and were being difficult. So basically you have to moan you’re not happy to get served. We were then offered jugs by the manager as apparently it is her discretion and the service did improve but it just put a downer on the whole evening. £45 each is absolutely extortionate for what we got.

Today I attended the family session with my two children and a friend. We paid ÂŁ15 per child for over an hours free play on the machines, karaoke room & ping pong in the garden too. This price also included a packed lunch and a drink. Lucky for us, we were the only ones attending that particular session so we had free rein and got to enjoy all of the games to our hearts content! It was a really great morning and my children who are 9 & 5 thoroughly enjoyed themselves, as did I. Excellent value for money and just a really fun thing to do with your little ones in the half term. Thanks guys!

Good old drift. Not so good anymore.

Where do I even begin! Staff, wonderful. Music, good. Venue, Good. Bouncers? Don’t even bother. Management? See other reviews! I had always come here, no issues whatsoever. Then I come a Friday night with friends, no issues again, I come the next Friday and security refuses my entry after all my friends paid entry and entered the venue, excuse? BRP. This is the same ID I used at the same venue same day a week prior. This time, “we don’t accept BRP on Weekends”. He made us all return to pick up my passport! I felt disrespected before entry at the venue which ruined my entire night.

I asked to speak to venue staff and management about the issues, unhelpful and dismissive. No explanation as to why and how I was allowed to enter venue all this time with that ID and all of a sudden it’s an issue. I use BRP for entry on every bar, club and pub I have been to in the city and other parts of the country and even abroad, no issues whatsoever but drift clearly is either overstepping the mark but you lost one more customer, all thanks to your petty rules.

Forgot to add, drug use and drug dealing inside the venue is a thing as well. They let drug dealers and crack dealers inside but refuse customers entry for no valid reasons. Shocking. I had been approached by dealers inside the venue and was followed into the toilets on multiple visits by individuals attempting to sell crack cocaine to customers inside the toilets, I noticed no effort was being made by security to prevent this or at the very least check toilets like they do in all clubs, bars and pubs but no they don’t. All they do is stand by the door and...
