The Lokum Factory — Restaurant in Portsmouth

I tried some of the Turkish delight they were offering as a free sample, it was the chocolate and pistachio Turkish delight, not intending to buy but more out of curiosity. I had some and oh my goodness it was amazing!! Delightfully sweet and well-balanced flavours. So I bought a tray of it! The power of free samples!

The owners were really nice and super friendly; and their story is so sweet too (🙄😳). The cart they have, they actually shipped over and it took 15 days to arrive at Portsmouth, followed by three hours to get it from the entrance of the mall to where it stands.

We really enjoyed our beverages break at the Lokum during our two hour shop: a unique blend of tempting confectionery and standard Cafe fare. I recommend the healthy "dark" hot chocolate; without reservation. Right outside plenty of big brand retail action in Cascades.
