GAME — Local services in Portsmouth

Amazing service. Visited the store on Wednesday 15th May. Firstly, it’s so refreshing when a retail store still has colleagues who greet and approach. Richard done both, he asked what it was I was shopping for today, I was looking for a gift for my partner who was also with me. Richard was so knowledgable on such a wide selection of games, he was so attentive around what games we liked, what we didn’t like, story plots, building games. He really went above and beyond. He also knew when it was time to say ‘I’ll just let you both have a think’ as we were holding around 8 games. The most amazing thing is when he mentioned games which he had second hand which meant we didn’t put any back and could purchase all, and even mentioned a special edition of a game for a small extra price. Details like this didn’t go missed and the transaction at the end was so friendly and in all of this he was even training a colleague on how to process a transaction/approach etc. He is a credit to...

Game stores have never been that great. Back on the day Gamestation was far superior. I'm afraid Game has forgotten the retro scene of gaming. To just deal in current generation consoles and games is a crime. The staff have always been slightly pushy in the fact that they don't let you look in peace and just hang about. I personally think the virtual reality section is a waste of time but others may like it. I Recommend going to CEX as they still deal in past generation consoles and games and have a great selection. No offence but this GAME shop company will die out very soon if they don't open their customer base wider rather then the one dimensional non atmospheric shop...

wow what can I say ... couldn't but a PS4 and pay it back over 12 months (even though I said I can do it in 3)

first the person who did it gave me to wrong numbers they don't even deal with game.

then they gave me the wrong email.

I've been back in there and they've told me that I can't do it because I'm on benefits.... because I don't work 16 hours a week...... discrimination much.

I'm more than able to pay rent phone bills gym membership ect but I can't buy PS4 because I'm on benefits.......
