My mum (chef extraordinaire of the top 3 dishes Iâve ever had in my life) had been here a number of times so I had to check it out.
I tried their lamb biryani and it was outstanding, a fantastic range of flavours, hints of bitterness and a touch of sweet along with the dominant savoury and spicy notes had me fall in love as soon as it hit my tastebuds. I also had keema aloo with a hot fresh naan which was also executed with top marks. I ate in and it was all served with a simple salad with lettuce, cucumber and onion, which provided a refreshing palate cleansing because if I had any criticism it would be the keema was a bit on the oily side but guys please donât change anything on my behalf, I understand that the fat is the vehicle driving flavour through the meat and potatoes.
The team behind these flavours are led by a gentleman who knows what heâs doing, I felt blessed to be lucky enough to have a chat with the chef on a late Sunday night. You are my hero and I canât wait to come back to try some other classic dishes.
TOP TIP: Try their tea! Itâs the real deal proper stuff. Again great flavour profile and the sweetness was spot on (I asked for less sugar and it perfectly matched my usual 1 sugar tastes)
TOP TIP 2: Try the rice pudding itâs also...

I visited Biryani Boyzz with my family this evening, excited to enjoy some good biryani. We ordered two plates of biryani, expecting an authentic experience. However, when we started eating, we noticed something off. It seemed like they had mixed chicken curry with the biryani, which we hadnât asked for.
I went to the staff to bring this to their attention, explaining that we ordered plain biryani, not biryani with added curry. The staff memberâs response was dismissive, saying that they had just changed the spices. Frustrated, we decided to leave the food and go to the counter for clarification. When we asked to speak to a senior staff member, they finally admitted that curry was indeed added to the biryani.
Despite the acknowledgment of their mistake, they offered no compensation or apology and still charged us the full bill. We left without eating and felt extremely disappointed, as we had come out specifically for this meal. This experience was very disappointing, and we wonât be returning.
Feel free to make any adjustments or add more...
Read moreBoth workers at the counter were very hospitable, friendly and cheerful. The chicken biryani was absolutely amazing, not too greasy unlike some takeout biryani places and very flavourful without being too spicy. The chicken karahi was everything youâd want in a karahi, flavourful, creamy but not too creamy with perfectly juicy chicken cubes. The tandoori naan was perfectly crispy from the outside and soft and fluffy in the inside with a delicious drizzling of ghee on top. The portions themselves were really generous and we were able to pack some away for a hearty lunch the next day. The only criticism I have is that the kheer did not have the most balanced rice to cream ratio as the rice was stuck together in small chunks whilst most of the kheer was sugar and cream. Despite this, the flavour of the kheer was perfect. This slight âkheer mishapâ may have been partly my fault as I did not heat my take-away kheer up as adviced. Overall, my husband and I are defiantly planning on visiting again for a Friday...
