Ordered some Rotis/chapattis from Rizouq. Upon arriving was greeted nicely. I asked about which dishes they have, and was kindly informed of the ones available. Decided to go for the lamb chops, and a rice pudding.
The food didn't take long to be prepared, but I was a little shocked at the price. The lamb chops curry was £9 for 4 chops and some oily sauce. I would expect to pay that in a sit-down restaurant, not for a takeaway. The rice pudding was £3, for a small single portion. Once again, a little steep in my opinion.
Now the taste. The Rotis were perfect, in fact, some of the best we've had from out. Really nicely made, great size and taste. At £1 each you can't go wrong.
The rice pudding/kheer was equally tasty. It had a great consistency and really nicely flavoured. I'm not a fan of cardamom, but it had a slight hint which was just enough.
The chops curry was very oily, and the portion size was poor. It had good flavour, but definitely not the best I've had. Would I get again? Probably not.
Overall, it's down to personal preference, but I'm not sure I'll be returning for anything other than the...

Read moreOrdered a mixture of dishes, including chicken curry, a veg dish, their Tawa fish. The chicken curry was absolutely awful, tub served in overflowing with oil, no actual meat on the chicken cuts, just bones..
The piece of fish which is overpriced £8 alone, was just a grilled fish witu lots of spices thrown on top, no real flavour at all.
To top it all off, we told them we want to eat in, but we’re served our curries in take away tubs, plastic small spoons to serve our curry’s, given metal plates to eat in, and the chappati bread just on a sheet of paper, so within minutes it was cold.
Had Tea at the end, it wasn’t great.. had no flavour at all.
Really disappointed as I’m Pro supporting small businesses, but these businesses need to step up and realise they cant keep charging ridiculous prices and serving mediocre tasteless food, it’s ridiculous.
Was charged £35 for my food, which isn’t cheap… safe to say I don’t recommend and won’t be...
