We visited very early on a Monday night. It was very quiet and the atmosphere was lacking as a result. The restaurant can feel exposed to those walking outside and those passing in cars and buses
The service was excellent, so attentive and friendly.
The food was very good. A couple of minor issues such as vegetables not fully drained, meaning we had water on our plates.. Our arancini starters were also slightly over cooked meaning the coating was very hard. All minor things which can be easily fixed. The sauces with our dishes were all lovely, very rich and obviously made on the premises. Overall we thought the service was excellent, the food was very good and the restaurant would feel more cosy if less exposed to the High St, perhaps with some blinds.
A really good addition to the High St with potential to...

The wine menu has a great choice. We opted for the Montepulciano and we not disappointed.

All in all, a really good restaurant and a great addition to Rayleigh. We would...
