BE WARNED I was the the Friday DJ for them for over a year, they was 'ok' until the first friday after New year's eve (Jan 5 2018)

It was quieter than normal - as you can expect! and I was sent an email asking if everything was ok, because they didn't get my usual dj performance??

I explained the reasons behind this (house lights being left on til late, tables and chairs on the dance floor, house music not being turned off so I can start etc)

With all residencies I dj at being the new year my prices went up, to cover costs and overheads for the following year.

Now Leo at the red door didn't like the fact I put my prices up and asked me to go in for a meeting ((there's was no need for a meeting, not when I live 25 miles away))

He wanted to discuss my email (which I will happily show anyone if they ask to see it) but the email was just basically saying the reasons why my dj performance my usual self was because house lights were still on at 10.30pm, furniture on dance floor, and the in house music was still playing at 10.30pm)

This was back in Jan 5th 2018 (it's now march 3rd 2018) and I've still not been paid.

Invoices have been sent and received, and I no longer dj for them and have no intention to work for a company that doesn't pay.

I started posting some facts on my personal social wall and Leo (the owner of the RED DOOR) felt the need to message me with some unpleasentary words - I ignored it, and then he started messaging my wife!!!

Again pics can be provided for proof.

I requested the money again and they said they wanted a meeting with me.... ??? (Why??)

So I said ok, but they will have to pay for my time, and I said I would attend the meeting if they agreed to pay me for my time first.

I didn't hear back, I then sent a recorded letter giving them 7 days to pay this invoice of £140 for DJ services on 5th Jan 2018 -

I’ve been coming to the red door for quite some time now. When speaking to bouncer last night he acknowledged how frequent i have been going to the door. It’s very upsetting when you’ve given and business your support and money and then they discriminate against because of where you live. It’s absolutely disgusting to not allow an individual in based on where they live. I completely understand if you are having problems with certain people but this is the problem with bars around this area they don’t stick to banning a person. I understand not letting somebody in because of there actions but to discriminate and not allow somebody in because of a postcode i’ve never seen anything like it. I’m not surprised it was so empty last night! My friend got told she could not come because she was born in Basildon. She lives in port smith for University and came down the weekend to see all her friends (she was sober and driving as she doesn’t drink). They bouncers apologised and we completely understand it is not there fault they are only doing there job. But management might want to rethink this because you are 100% losing business. I went into the speak to the bar mananger last night and there was a grand total of about 10/15 people inside.

Right, I want the governor of this establishment to stop charging anyone!. You will earn more money letting well established people earning money! I'm not 18 anymore and never going to pay to go in a pub/bar. And with the cost of living, you are denying anyone over 18 to have fun. Your security and bar staff are brilliant. I spent money in your gaff, and I paid to get in £6/person. Will not be paying again. Hope you are happy with your £6 quid. This place is a safe venue with great staff, great security, and if parents youngest want to come here they will be safe and enjoy. But? The greed of the owners or owner, Is ridiculous at this moment in time. Cost of living, greedy man or woman or family. I spent money but not again unless he changes his greedy outlook. I told the @Spread Eagle to do one with an Arton Senna. You have a brilliant establishment with a mixture of ages and you charge? I'm 46, and I will not pay to go into a bar pub because I'm not 18 anymore. I'm an adult with money to spend but not on your door. You have a great place.
