Diamond Koz — Restaurant in Rother

The newest restaurant in Rye is a family run Turkish restaurant. The menu is very comprehensive and caters for all tastes . The staff are very friendly and service is excellent. The Turkish wine was dry and complimented the meal. On arrival complimentry salad , pitta bread and dips. Starters we went for the Hot Meze for 2 which I would recommend, main my wife had Chicken Shish and I had King Prawn Cuvek with Bulgar. I had traditional Baklava made on the premises by Fred who was also the boss in his father's absence who was at their other restaurant. The food was flavoursome. The bill with 2 bottles of wine and starter and mains with 1dessert was under a £100.00. Turkish Delight when leaving. For excellent service and generous portions .I recommend it. They also do pizza and takeaway if collecting 15%. off. Delivery available.

Went on Valentines for a romantic meal. A Valentines menu and their regular menu available to choose from. Once again excellent food and service. We had 2 bottles of VILLA DOLUCA a dry rose wine from Turkey. For starter I had Turkish Hallumi with a chilli dip, my wife had Falafel on a bed of Hummus. My main was Lamb Cuvec with Bulgar, my wife went for a Mixed Schish with Bulgar. I had Strawberry Cheesecake for dessert. We couldn't find fault. Nice ambience and the staff remember you. Ordered delivery for the first time and in all honesty was quite disappointed. Have eaten in a few times and been in for cocktails with absolutely no complaints, staff are friendly and polite. Ellie especially is a brilliant waitress who is always welcoming and helpful. Staff are brilliant at catering for allergies too. Tonight however i ordered onion rings, canned drinks and pizza to be delivered. Had a call to say food was here so went down to collect but was not given the pizza. Called the restaurant and they told us they would bring it up. Didn't hear anything so called them back to be told delivery driver was here but we were not contacted so unsure how long he waited by gate for but by the time pizza got to us it was unfortunately cold. Usually highly recommended this restaurant but not sure I'll be ordering for...

We are local and Diamond Koz have arrived with a big statement. My wife and I have eaten there about 5 or 6 times and had some good meals and experiences. Tonight was an exception which was annoying as we took my daughter and her boyfriend saying they would become regulars. I ordered a zPizza which was a big mistake as it did not arrive until my family was half through eating their meal. They shouldn’t have bothered as it was all bread and packet processed plastic cheese and practically no sauce. Left three quarters of it and just wanted to pay the bill and leave but no one paying attention. Had to go up to the till in the end,. The others had a decent meal although my wife on this occasion left quite a lot. Cost was £123:00 which I would happily pay for 4 people but will not be going back or recommend any time soon....
