Rye Deli — Restaurant in Rother

Me and my partner came here. We got 2 x salad box for £8 each which got us a choice of 4 salads. We also got a can of coke each and a quiche to share. Came to £23. Good: I got the harissa carrot, sweet chilli chickpea, roasted butternut squash and beetroot salad. All delicious. Service was very friendly and they recommended a nice place for us to eat our takeaway boxes.

Bad: My only complaint is there is a little too much oil on the roasted vegetables. I got a oily glaze in my mouth which I wasn't a fan of. Especially when we choose to eat here as a healthier choice! Also the quiche wasn't anything...

This deli is amazing! We treated ourselves to 100g selection of cheeses, with their freshly baked sourdough bread and locally churned butter, and it was all gorgeous, made for a fab wine & cheese night - really recommend the black bomber cheese.

Thankfully we also bough from the food deli, Harrisa potatoes, a steak bake and chicken balti pie - absolute taste sensation!! Wish I lived closer, I’d be their best customer 😂 we’ll always be sure to pop in every time we’re in Rye. They clearly care about what they do and it shows in the high quality of their food. We were doing a film shoot in Camber Sands in late October and were scouring for places that could deliver warm and nutritious packed lunches for our crews.
