Below average, unprofessional, unskilled and unwelcoming.

Where should I start ...

--The pizza dough felt like it was a frozen one just topped up with stuff . Absolutely inferior for the year 2022. The only difference between a Asda pizza that I make at home and this one was their oven. The crust of pizza was crumbling like a biscuit with zero elasticity topped with poor quality ingredients.

Let me put it this way ... Dominos makes 3 times better pizza than this "Mediterranean Restaurant "

--The mix grill was tasteless and dry without seasoning and burned meats served with a large amount of raw onion and without any sauces or anything to make this experience a bit more pleasant .

--Gave us a completely different wine than the one we ordered and not a better bottle , the waiter didn't even bother to let us know , just oppened the random bottle and poured into our glasses. We have ordered the second most expensive wine on the list so we had a big disappointment to see that the one they oppened for us it was for sale for £6 on the internet. Definitely not the Rioja Crianza 2017 we expected , what they gave to us was a basic table wine. --When I told our waiter about our disappointment he told us that Ribera del Duero makes better wines than Rioja .... completely nonsense way of dealing with a complain in my view. So we end up drinking the table wine as basically we were ignored.

--It was a weird patronising service that made me and my girlfriend both feel uncomfortable.

--The table management was bad as on a empty restaurant with 3 tables in they managed to get us seated 40 cm away from 2 different tables so as it was empty you could hear everything the people around you were talking .

Surprisingly the dessert was good the Baklava was quality over quantity so good job for that.

--Memorable experience and not...

Some friends and I were out enjoying a drink in Monton on Saturday evening, and we decided to call at Leo's for a casual meal as we have enjoyed the restaurant previously. We arrived at around 8pm and the restaurant was fairly busy with a mixture of dining groups.

The first thing that we noticed was how loud the music was, so much so that we struggled to hear each other or the restaurant staff. When we were seated, we saw one of the waiters was gyrating around in a "comedy" fashion to one of the groups of ladies. Assuming that it must have been a one-off performance as part of some kind of celebration for one of the groups we ordered. Unfortunately, after the third "performance" and the waiter coming over to our table trying to be funny we realised that we had made a mistake.

The music was so loud we couldn't hear each other when we were trying to have a conversation. The table of women being entertained seemed to be having a good time and one other family looked like they were enjoying the chaos, but all other diners and even some of the stuff looked unhappy / uncomfortable.

Eventually the groups that the whole restaurant seemed to be trying to impress left and the music was slowly turned down but by that point the relaxed meal was ruined.

I have enjoyed Leo's on numerous occasions previously with both friends and family and was really disappointed with how poor the experience was.

I'm not sure if it is just Saturday evening that they turn the place into a poor cabaret club with a Josh Widdicombe look alike running around annoying diners, but I won't be going back for an overpriced pizza...

Fantastic restaurant!

Service - Staff very helpful and made us feel very welcome. Big shout to Alazar, Aysun and India who looked after us all … Table was set out ready for our large group. Drink choice excellent. Plenty of choice. bottle of house sauvignon wine £28 and 11% vol … I like 13% min for that price.

Food - Loads of choice on the menu we had to pre order as we were a large group …little touch would be they could have asked if we wanted anything extra to what we had pre ordered as we had to ask over our pre ordered food … the Lamb chops no longer come with rice as per the menu on the website however was not a problem as we asked for a portion of chips supplied at no extra cost … Cheesy garlic breads are fabulous pizza style fluffy crispy The Rib eye ( rare ) was cooked to perfection, and the accompanying pepper sauce was delicious. Chips were also cooked perfectly. Lasagna a good portion piping hot and gorgeous Pizzas lovely spaghetti bolognaise a good portion and the lamb shank on bed of mash big portion to.

Dessert - Again great choice. Tiramasu, delicious. Not amazing but very very good.

All in all a fantastic evening celebrating birthdays. Large group and everything came out on time, accurate and hot. Compliments to the chef .. They even sang and played music for us happy graduation birthday music with a large round of applause. And a sweet Caroline for our son and party to sing along to

Highly recommend this place whether romantic meal for 2 or a large family...

Fantastic restaurant! Service - Staff very helpful and made us feel very welcome. Tables set out ready for our large group. Drink choice excellent. A little pricey but plenty of choice. On hindsight we should have ordered a bottle of wine. Top tip, order a bottle. Food - Loads of choice on the menu and even accommodated a few last-minute food changes. Calamari excellent. Very crispy and the batter not oily or greasy at all. Hummus- delicious but would have liked a little more bread, it was too good! The Rib eye ( rare ) was cooked to perfection, and the accompanying pepper sauce was delicious. Chips were also cooked perfectly. Side salad was lacking a little but no problem at all. Dessert - Again great choice. Tiramasu, delicious. Not amazing but very very good. All in all a fantastic evening celebrating birthdays. Large group and everything came out on time, accurate and hot. They even sang happy birthday with a large round of applause. Highly recommend this place whether romantic meal for 2 or a large family celebration. Awesome. 👌

The food in Dinos is 5*, the service is 4* as the staff at first were less than attentive and it took about 15 mins to even get a drink but after a run up the service was lovely. The atmosphere was 3.5/4* as in general it was a lovely evening, lovely energy with just one table of 2 blokes one who was fairly drunk trying to chat up a waitress, then shouting down the phone to his daughter (who has split up with her BF) and then shouting across to another table before telling the owner he would have preferred the Sea bass in a tomato sauce ... I mean rude doesn't cut it... but the staff dealt with him fairly well, it's a shame he was ruining a decent evening. Back to the food. Like many I recommend the freshly made cheesecake! And if you think it looks too big, ask to split it with someone on your table like we did. It's 10/10 and worth a visit itself.

Updated review (I'll leave the old one underneath). In fact, this is our first return visit since Cumin-Gate, which turned out to be more of a deal-breaker than I then imagined. Today, the grilled cheese sandwich and Dino's Wrap were delicious, with no unwelcome hidden spicy surprises. The fries were fresh, hot and perfectly crispy/fluffy. The service was outstanding; these guys were very keen that we had a good experience. I thought that the meal was good value, too. Old review, 2021: Good food, great selection on the menu. The Mediterranean rather than nation-specific approach produced some oddities, such as cumin on the tomato-and-bread starter. This was enough to convince my husband never to return. But I am more open minded. I really enjoyed the cocktails.
