Walked down to Bearwood for first time in years after having lunch at The Dog on Hagley Rd. Glad I did, place was bustling & buzzing. Another place outside if the city centre to visit for an evening out to go alongside Kings Heath & Stirchley. Top place there was this awesome Craft Ale bar. Exactly my type of place, not a place to go & get pissed but a place to discover new ales & your enjoy your beer. Gentlemen brjind the bar, I’m sorry mate, I forgot your name / but if it helps I visited Friday afternoon between 3pm & 5pm, interiors are funky, quirky, again just right for me. Amazing range of craft ales. I asked for fruity IPA & the barman knew exactly scar to get me & I had a ham roll as well, I’ve missed the days of being able to buy a sandwich from the bar. I sat outside, enjoyed my ale do much I asked for recommendations for a couple of take outs for that evening they were just as nice. I live the other side of the city, otherwise would be in this place all the time.

Visited here as part of the Bearwood Xmas Ale Tour. Amy who was serving us was fantastic and was most helpful, friendly and entertaining. Great to engage with genuinely amicable bar staff. We ordered a couple of "flights" of ale to keep us occupied for an hour or so. And boy were they delicious. The brews ranged from sours to dark ales. Our particular favourite was a dark marshmallow porter which tasted like dessert! Great vibe and décor, as others have already called out. Highly recommended.

A gorgeous selection of keg ales and ciders including many of brum's own independent brewers, as well as a fridge full of drinks if you see or try anything you fancy that you want to take away, all decent prices; lovely atmosphere with a good range of music and friendly staff who know their stuff! Definitely worth checking out if you find yourself in Bearwood looking for a pint 😊

Amazing pub in Bearwood, has lots of beer choices and I am always in for a sour. My partner found one of his favourite ever beers here, called 'Here comes the sun', luckily they are brewing it again soon, so we will come shortly for another beer.

The atmosphere is always brilliant, the bar staff is so friendly and knowledgeable. Every time I go without my partner, I ask the bar staff for recommendations for my partner and they always get it right. If you are in Bearwood, definitely don't...

A definite novelty for Bearwood. Not many places in Smethwick that sell proper craft ales (key-keg rather than fizz keg). There was a wide selection of beers on tap (probably about 15. But I can't be sure). A small pub that is probably a converted shop and easily missed because of the small frontage. Situated at the top end of Bearwood Rd (#608). I certainly recommend this place if you like Craft Ales. It's a pity I live 170 miles away. Excellent establishment with knowledgeable...
