Walked down to Bearwood for first time in years after having lunch at The Dog on Hagley Rd. Glad I did, place was bustling & buzzing. Another place outside if the city centre to visit for an evening out to go alongside Kings Heath & Stirchley. Top place there was this awesome Craft Ale bar. Exactly my type of place, not a place to go & get pissed but a place to discover new ales & your enjoy your beer. Gentlemen brjind the bar, I’m sorry mate, I forgot your name / but if it helps I visited Friday afternoon between 3pm & 5pm, interiors are funky, quirky, again just right for me. Amazing range of craft ales. I asked for fruity IPA & the barman knew exactly scar to get me & I had a ham roll as well, I’ve missed the days of being able to buy a sandwich from the bar. I sat outside, enjoyed my ale do much I asked for recommendations for a couple of take outs for that evening they were just as nice. I live the other side of the city, otherwise would be in this place...

The atmosphere is always brilliant, the bar staff is so friendly and knowledgeable. Every time I go without my partner, I ask the bar staff for recommendations for my partner and they always get it right. If you are in Bearwood, definitely don't...

But I can't be sure). A small pub that is probably a converted shop and easily missed because of the small frontage. Situated at the top end of Bearwood Rd (#608). I certainly recommend this place if you like Craft Ales. It's a pity I live 170 miles away. Excellent establishment with knowledgeable...
