So I’ve been a regular customer for a while now and never had any trouble until last weekend. I ordered two meat heavy pizzas which arrived completely vegetarian. I phoned up and was told that my account will be credited and they apologised. I came to this weekend and wanted to cash in that credit.
The man who answered the phone was extremely rude and aggressive. He then proceeded to tell me he couldn’t give it for free. I understand this and was expecting a discount instead. My boyfriend and I actually went to the takeaway and were asked how much we wanted to pay.
The server was again rude and aggressive which was completely unnecessary. My boyfriend had to shout to the back for the pizzas and wings to be taken out of the oven as he could smell burning! After we got our food (the wings were disgusting) we found a thick black hair in our pizza!
As the server gave my boyfriend the food, he said “the top one is yours” (because it had jalapeños on and the other didn’t). This was completely stereotypical!!! I am furious. I am white English and my boyfriend is Indian, that does not mean that I don’t eat spicy food... I just hate jalapeños! But I can’t class that as racist can I? Because I’m white, right?

Refused delivery and rang the shop to ask where the rest of my order was, got no apology nothing and got told it would take another 45 minute's for the rest of the order as he is busy and has 20 orders. Was not happy to wait this long told him he should prioritise my order as it was 1 hour since I placed the original order and he refused. The staff is rude, no manners and no customer service. The driver was embarrassed by this behaviour but not the man on the phone. Told him I was returning the food to the driver and wanted a full refund. He said not to return the food, as no good to him and he will give a full refund. My son went to get the refund and he claimed we KEPT his pizza so we owed him money!!! My son paid for the food we had and got a refund for the difference. The customer service was disgusting will not be ordering...
Read moreChatting with the older front of house person.. Got on with him really well.. Not long done a second visit with a chicken meal for neighbour and an extra large Luigi's pizza for myself. Food is excellent and can't fault the place.. I'm trusted in area and Luigi's trust me too. Clean and welcoming.. Hard pushed to find better!! 5* for food and 5* for staff. It's about 8 mins walk for me but worth the walk for great food..
UPDATE.. The staff now ask me if it's the usual. I visit far too many times. Best I can say is while waiting for my order - another customer had travelled 20 miles for his meal. The other week there was an order put in for 20*16" pizza's and 10 large fries. The chap was getting married on the Saturday.
Can't fault this place (John - the owner IS Italian!! and BRILLIANT!). The front of house person mentioned above.
Visit once and I will guarantee you will come back for...
