McDonald's — Restaurant in Sandwell

I could never be accurate in giving any fast food chain a 5 star rating for the sole fact that it is not really healthy for you, however, at this store ive given it 4 stars. I think that a lot of the staff are just workers who dont really care as most are fairly young. The resturant is kept clean to a fair standard and i make an exception to the toilets where a lot of members of the public dont really care at all as everytime i enter them i get a strong scent of urine and the cubicles usually have toilet roll spread across the floor. As for the food and drinks ive never understood why in such warm temperatures would you make a milkshake up then put it so close to a heat source. The last chocolate milkshake i had there was more of a chocolate milk drink than a milkshake as it had all softened to liquid. I do feel the staff could put more of a polite effort in insted of just serving you and then just walking away. My 2 pet hates with McDonalds as a whole though is the ordering screens, they never have paper in them for the reciept so if you split a bill with 3 people the who owes who how much? & my second pet hate is the delivery collection drivers, why do the get served first before other in store customers? The restaurant says 24 hour but it isn't it closes at 12 to the public. I had a rude manager who shout across the restaurant t0 say they were closed when I walked in even though they had other people eating the restaurant and all the signs say its 24 hours.

With it being my local mcdonalds I can say the service is shocking even at its peak with the staff not even talking to you and constantly forgetting thing like staws and condiments. Talking to a human being at the restaurant you might as well forget as they take or order and shout your number leaving your food on the side for anyone to take and not checking order numbers. I thought the service was stocking before I found the false advertising of 24 hours and I will never be taking my custome here again. Just go down the road the oldbury by where the old toys r us use to be as at least you will get humans to greet you and know the food is correct with friendly custom ... as for state cleanses of the hayley road mcdonalds don't even start me you can see the black build up of grease from. Went through the drivethru as was sick of just eat deliveries being wrong and having stuff cold or missing every time, Thought I wouldn't have any issues but I was wrong! 3 items missing after waiting in bay 3 for over 5 minutes?? Lucky I checked before we drove away, the Mrs went inside straight away and some cheeky server actually tried to say we was lying as she had packed the bag! My Mrs totally shocked at this response asked which bag did you put them in? The reply was sarcastic you know the one with the food in? My Mrs not to be outdone replied which one? We had 2 bags!!!! She then offered for her to go out and search the car! And told her she wasn't hard up enough to try and scam 3 99pence burgers!! A manager took over and the issue was resolved quickly as she asked for a full refund and we was now going to Domino's..... The manager had the whole order done fresh and made sure everything was there this time!! We will never go to this place again, we appreciate as humans we can all make a mistake! But to react like that and be spoken down to for something that costs in total less than £3 Never...
