Nando's Wednesbury - Junction 9 — Restaurant in Sandwell

I had previously put in a complaint regarding this restaurant and the lack of chicken availability on 3 occasions when visiting the restaurant.

I made the decision to visit the restaurant again yesterday in the hope that my experience and based on the feedback provided previously would result in a more positive experience.

To my surprise, I arrived at the restaurant, greeted at the door and taken to our table. I had asked if they had everything on the menu. The waiter advised that they did not have the following:

No Sunset Burgers No loaded Fries No Cheese

This is what I wanted to order, I proceed to ask the waiter to get me a manager, as I felt that the manager needed to be made aware that on the last 4 occasion of visiting the restaurant, I have been left in a position that I have had to leave, due to not having the ingredients needed to fulfil orders on the menu.

Kerry, who I spoke to, was very polite and apologetic about the situation. I explained that I have previously made a complaint regarding this. Kerry did offer to make the dishes, but without the cheese. I politely advised, this does not taste the same.

I feel that this particular restaurant has serious supply issues, which I can only assume it's due to someone within the store not ordering enough stock. As I have never experienced these issues at any other stores.

As mentioned previously, this restaurant is the most convenient store to me, as it also offers less hassle, when it comes to parking, so it is my preferred restaurant to go to.

I am now at the point that I will not want to waste my time again going to this store, on 4 occasions this year at the same restaurant I have been in the situation where I have had to leave the store because of the lack of stock, is an absolute disgrace.

I really feel that no one is taking this seriously, and I can't be the only customer that is raising these concerns.

I would like this matter to be looked into and be able to be given the confidence that this is going to be resolved and be able to visit this restaurant again. On 4 occasions... Come on... Clearly something or someone is not doing...

I chose the spicy rice and spicy tomato bean salsa with butternut squash and sweet potato with with wilted spinach and feta cheese. Sounds nice, but unfortunately Nando's doesn't consider how their vegan /vegetarian food tastes as it's just an opportunity to cash in on those who would otherwise not go to an eatery serving just meat.

The spicy rice unlike the chicken ONLY comes in the flame hot variety with the spicy tomato and bean salsa bearing the same degree of heat which makes for a very unpleasant meal.

The butternut squash and sweet potato with wilted spinach and feta cheese was tasteless, you need a microscope to find any feta cheese which as a result brought absolutely nothing to the meal.

I basically chewed twice and swallowed, just to get through the meal and to avoid wasting the £11.00 I'd paid for it.

I left feeling that the dining experience had been very disappointing; and if I could recommend anything to Nando's it would be to give vegetarians / vegans the same options to have their food made in mild, medium and hot, just like the chicken afterall, vegetarians and vegans have different tastes just like...

Visited here yesterday had the double chicken breast pitta, had to send the first one back as it was dry and tough. Onto the second one same again, dry and tasteless. I couldn’t eat it the lad Kieron said I’ll get the manager. Very slow so I went up to the counter could hear him talking about me 😏 when I approached him and the manager both have sour faces and quite rude in there demeanour so I said forget the refund I’m going to write a bad review. Don’t know what happened to the customer service in this place. Never had this experience here before and have always visited this one over many others. Definitely won’t be returning though. Chef needs retraining as he really can’t cook a chicken breast! Also the haloumi sticks 🤢 not good at all shame really as like I said previously I’ve ate here lots of times before. Constantly changing staff so nothing stays the same. Toilets not clean either I might add also food all over the seats.

Bit of advice fix up yourselves and if your going to be a manager please learn to manage properly.
