An Clachan Cafe — Restaurant in Scotland

We had a lovely lunch here today. The roasted vegetables with avocado and hummus roll served with a side salad was really fresh and tasty. Plenty of tea in the pot too. We had two cups each. We followed it with a delicious and clearly homemade fruit scone with just a hint of cinnamon. There was really pleasant music playing in the café and the nice thing was that it wasn't too loud. It was just right and added to the lovely, relaxed atmosphere of the place. The café is in an unassuming little building next to the children's park. This really was a lovely and unexpected find. Splendido experience each and every time I visited. Since I was in town for work, not only did they provide delicious food, but friendly company and conversation when I visited. Guy was rude, had to repeat two coffee orders - a black coffee and decaf iced coffee - three times. Still got my coffee order wrong and gave me an iced latte which is a really silly mistake as lactose intolerant.
