I Went online to find somewhere in the town to eat as I was staying in town for a few nights. I went onto the online site and online states open Friday, great I though then booked a table via the online booking system, the site took credit card details in case we didn’t turn up, fair enough I thought. We then turned up in good time only to find the place was closed. We checked and there own site online states they are open and also allows you to make a booking etc but on Google maps it states it is only open on a Saturday 🤷‍♂️ I would normally trust their own site over a google map search, however this has obviously not been updated. Very dog and human friendly cafe right next to the car park and water in Callander. Service is brilliant even better the food is superb. Their decaf coffee is piping hot and delicious. We had the cumin and parsnip soup, homemade, it's really warming and full of flavour. I had a bacon roll very filling and tasty. We also had homemade scones with homemade jam and clotted cream the best you will find anywhere. Our dog got a biscuit as well. I could not fault it! A fantastic place for a quick and tasty bite to eat, an enjoyable drink, or a fun round of mini golf. The food includes purpose made 100% ground Scottish beef burgers, and in the evenings stone baked Napolitana Pizza's, with Glasgow's famous Crolla Gelato as "dulcis in fundo". Coffee is good too.

Perfectly located on the Meadows beside the Eas Gobhain river, with gorgeous views of the same and of the lovely Trossachs countryside beyond.
