First order from this place, ordered via just eat but there are tons of reviews for everywhere there and they seem largely meaningless so leaving here. Ordered an 18" four cheese pizza on a garlic butter base with spinach on it as a paid extra for just under £20 with delivery. The plan was that since it's 18" I'd have it for dinner and a fair bit left over for the next morning. The pizza was done extremely well, I don't know if they do all ingredient combinations this well but there were thicker creamy cheesy parts, a sprinkle of fairly strong parmesan, hint of garlic all around. There was a thin layer of the spinach all over the pizza kinda melted into it (not a thick watery blob of it as you can sometimes get). Due to all this I failed to follow the plan and finished the entire pizza over 2 hours or so with the classic "just one more slice" feeling getting too strong every 20 mins.
Delivery wise, for reference I live 2 miles from the place - it came in 45 mins, this was 10 mins less than estimated. There are some places that seem to be able to deliver within 20-30 mins, but to be honest making a proper 18" pizza and delivering it all within 45 mins is very reasonable if you think about it, and I could probably wait up to 70ish mins before considering it a negative. As long as the estimates are accurate, or if there is a delay I'm notified about it and given the option to cancel that's perfect. There are some places that can be 30 mins, even an hour later than estimated that don't even notify you of this so you have to sit in and be available to open the door for 2 hours, this wasn't that, and was quick...

Both pizzas received, a pepperoni, and a Margherita are severely over-done. The cheese on the margherita is all brown, the pizza itself is hard and the crust solid. All the pepperoni slices are blackened and burned. This is disappointing as we’re regularly customers of Dario’s Shawlands and have had many a good order, however, what was truly shocking was the response on the phone.
Called up, just to let them know and to ask for a resolution to be told, “no, this is how they’re made, I’ll make another one for you right in front of you and you’ll see it’ll come out the same”. No apology, no concern for our waste of money and time to collect, just complete denial of the facts and rudeness. I’m not going to go 15 minutes back to the shop to receive, what will apparently be, according to you, another burned pizza? Especially baffling when we’ve literally had many pizzas from you that are NOT burned?? How can you expect to run a restaurant like this? If you had been courteous on the phone, apologised, I probably wouldn’t have minded given we’ve had many good experiences, but to be spoken to so rudely is ridiculous given that any person can see that these little meat discs are burned, not well cooked, burned.
Save your money and go elsewhere, why waste money on mediocre pizza and shocking...

I can't even review the food, because over an hour after I got a text saying it was en route (it's an 8 minute drive according to Google maps) we still had no sign of it, and eventually gave up. We called the restaurant after it had been "en route" for 20 minutes a got a rude guy tell us that it might be later because it can be busy, but gave no explanation as to where it was and assured me that I'd have it in the next 5 minutes. After another 15 minutes passed I got into contact with Just-Eat and had to fight for another half hour to get a full refund (after being offered a staggeringly low £3 voucher for my missing £21 meal). Even after all that time there was still zero sign of my order....
