Read moreA Taste of Pakistan in the Heart of Glasgow
I had the absolute pleasure of dining at this gem of a restaurant recently, and I can confidently say it was the most delicious and authentic Pakistani food I’ve ever had — hands down.
We ordered the Lamb Karahi, Seekh Kabab, Roti, Lemon Soda, Gulab Jamun and Tea all of which were bursting with rich flavours and cooked to perfection. The lamb was incredibly tender, infused with deep spices and clearly freshly prepared — no shortcuts here. The Seekh Kababs were smoky, juicy, and perfectly spiced, and the roti was soft, hot, and the ideal companion to mop up the rich, flavourful curry.
To drink, I had a refreshing lemon soda that balanced the spices beautifully, and I ended the meal with a warm gulab jamun and a cup of soothing chai — both of which hit the spot and left me smiling.
From start to finish, this meal was a treat. The quality of the ingredients, the depth of flavour, and the attention to detail in every dish made it clear that this place takes pride in its food. If you’re in Glasgow and craving real, hearty Pakistani cuisine, this spot is a must-visit. I’ll be recommending it to...
Read moreThis food is 10 stars. I have a capsaicin allergy and chef attended to my food needs, He made a PERFECT recommendation and I couldn't stop eating. Portion is perfect, ok so I pushed the last few mouthfuls of Scottish on bone lamb in but I wasn't going to leave them in the bowl!! Place is old, but clean and reasonably well maintained with a hand written menu on board, The eating area is really pretty clean, toilets passable and the kitchen is well cared for. All cutlery was observed being wiped before being out away AND before being put on our plates. Wish today wasn't our last night in Glasgow. DEFINITELY put this place on your radar when in Glasgow. You will not be disappointed. Music is traditional and a bit loud but it will not take away from the atmosphere. Felt safe, well cared for and now very full!!! Our needs were anticipated well and other customers were treated equally well. Such a little hidden and unexpected treasure. Thank you. Highly, very highly recommended. I had the lamb lahori karahi And my friend had the lamb biryani with extra heat and LOVED...
