I recently had the pleasure of visiting Haute Dolci in Glasgow, and it was nothing short of a delightful experience. From the moment I walked in, I was captivated by the cozy yet vibrant ambiance. The dim lighting and chic decor created an inviting atmosphere that was perfect for both a casual evening out and a more intimate gathering. The menu offered a wide range of desserts and drinks that catered to every palate. I decided to try their Best of both (Croffle), and it was absolutely divine. The croffle was perfectly baked with a rich milk belgian chocolate. Paired with a scoop of vanilla bean ice cream, it was a match made in heaven. I also sampled the slumber party special (cookie dough) which had a perfect balance. As for the drinks, the bar offers an impressive selection mocktails and hot drinks. I opted for the "Fruits of the Forest" Mocktail, which was a refreshing blend of berries, lime and a hint of mint. It was both visually stunning and incredibly tasty, striking the right balance between sweet and tangy. The service was exceptional throughout the evening. The staff were attentive without being intrusive and were more than happy to offer recommendations based on my preferences. They were knowledgeable about the menu and showed genuine enthusiasm for the food and drinks they were serving, which added to the overall experience. Overall, Haute Dolci exceeded my expectations in every way and deserves all the hype! The combination of delicious desserts and hot food, expertly crafted drinks, and top-notch service makes it a must-visit spot for anyone looking to satisfy their sweet tooth or enjoy a night out. I highly recommend giving it a try—you won’t be disappointed!

I visited the Glasgow (Springfield Quay) branch of Haute Dolci today, and it was simply fantastic! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by warm, friendly staff who made me feel right at home. The ambiance was perfect—modern yet cozy, with soft lighting and comfortable seating that set the tone for a relaxing meal. The attention to detail in the decor really adds to the overall experience, making it an ideal spot to unwind or enjoy a meal with friends. I started with the Cheese-licious Burger with fries, and it was an absolute treat. The burger was juicy, cheesy, and perfectly seasoned, while the fries were crispy and golden. Every bite was a burst of flavor. For drinks, I went with the Blue Lagoon, which was refreshing and beautifully presented. The balance of sweet and tangy made it an ideal companion to the meal. And then, the Kunafa dessert was a showstopper! I don’t recall the exact name, but it was topped with pistachios, rich chocolate syrup, and a scoop of creamy vanilla ice cream. The contrast between the crispy kunafa and the smooth ice cream, along with the nutty pistachios and chocolate drizzle, was an absolute dream. What made the experience even better was the exceptional customer service. The staff were attentive without being intrusive, ensuring everything was perfect throughout the meal. They took time to explain the menu and made great recommendations, which really enhanced my dining experience. Haute Dolci in Glasgow is a gem—fantastic food, a welcoming ambiance, and outstanding service. I’ll definitely be coming back for more! Highly recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable dining experience!

I have been twice since opening and I didn’t leave a review the first time as I gave the benefit of doubt that it’s fairly newly opened and staff might be falling short of training. My first experience wasn’t great, waited about 20 mins for someone to come get our order for 2 lattes and a strawberry crepe. When it finally came (after having to ask for it twice as we waited over an hour, and it wasn’t overly busy and plenty of staff) the crepe had just 4/5 thin slices on the crepe and little drizzle of chocolate! At this point I didn’t have the energy to argue or send it back as we were already frustrated for the lack of service and time taken. We just ate and left! I now went a week ago and nothing has changed if anything it’s worse! It was around 8.45pm and only a handful of people. We got seated straight away, but there was no menus on the table, we asked one of the staff walking past for them, no one came back to give them. I was with a group of friends so we’re just chatting away and we realised whilst talking that it had been just over half hour and no one’s come to give menus or take order. My friend had to go to the counter and get the menus from the lady. She also did mention to her at this point that can someone come to our table and take the order as no one has bothered to attend to us. The same thing was happening to other people. No one came to take our order despite us shouting over to a staff member who came to clean a table next to ours 15 mins after getting the menus. It now was well over half hour at which point I myself then got up and again went to the counter and told the girl that we had to come up get our menus and now second time getting up to ask for the 3rd time for someone to come take our order and that it’s ridiculous how no one is attending to us. She then sent someone over within 5 mins and we knew we would be waiting a long time for our order as other people we could see asking them that they had been waiting ages and their orders hadn’t come. Our order made its way to us in 40 mins and and again it was one crepe and 4 hot drinks! The crepe was cold however the strawberries was a good portion and ice cream was good size too. The hot chocolate we ordered was smothered in marshmallows and cream which my friend literally took it all out with her spoon and once again as it was already super late none of us had the energy to request another or heat up the crepe. Another thing since being given a table we requested water 4 times! When we were leaving we mentioned this also and the girl then brought water! Honestly the whole service experience was just laughable! I definitely will not be going back! The staff haven’t got a clue about running this place. Extremely slow service the crepes both...

Edited reply to the management - I understand complimentary drinks were offered, not the strawberries. And funnily enough, even the drinks came before our order. I understand it's a fast paced environment and you guys were pretty busy that day but knowing that there's only one proper dessert place in your location and not being able to keep up with the busy times is just not good. You literally had only 3 waiters, and 2 people behind the counter trying to serve a full place and even long queues waiting to be seated. We come there all dressed up and looking forward to having a good time with family and friends but having to wait for our orders for long hours is just not what we want to experience. And unfortunately this is actually the third time it happened to us. We actually had a family with us who were visiting from dubai. Anyway, such mishaps do happen, it's alright but we've heard it from far too many people that the service is very slow and it's just not worth the wait. Not sure if we will be back, and it won't make much of difference to your sales but if this continues then I'm sorry your business won't last long.

Visited Haute Dolci today with family. We got there around 7.30ish and the first part of our order came at 9pm!! And the rest of the order started coming in 30 mins after the first order came. The service was so so slow it's unbelievable. A single scoop of ice-cream for kids shouldn't take as long as it did. Kids started to get so annoyed and tired. I mean I understand it's a busy place, but shouldn't the management be prepared for it? And it's not the first time the service has been slow. I don't even know why we decided to come because we've had the similar experience of such slow service even before. But we did come to a mutual decision as 3 different families that we won't be coming back again. The wait is not worth the food either and then the extortionate prices just adds to frustration. It would have all been bearable if the food was worth the wait and prices but unfortunately even the food wasn't up to the mark. Have had better desserts from smaller places. We won't be coming back but would really suggest the management to upgrade their staff and hire experienced people who are able to handle the fast paced service. 10+ items from the menu and I swear only one was good enough which was the pistachio velvet milkshake. All the other desserts and sandwich were so ordinary. I really don't like to leave such negative review but when we pay £120+ for our bill, we expect a good and fast service and food to be worth it but it wasn't. Not going...

Was incredibly disappointed after having been super excited to try this place with family. Looked very elegant and the atmosphere looked nice in photos but our experience was really affected by the service and food. Overall by the end we felt really unstatisifed with the customer service. The venue was slightly more packed due to it being Eid but staff handled the crowd badly.

(Would like to add that the young man in charge of greeting and seating guests seemed like the best at customer service and was super helpful and aware of the flow of the cafe. He engaged well despite the chaos of the night, however waiters were not great)

We were given the wrong drink and had to ask three different people to get it changed. Our food was served without cutlery and when we asked for cutlery the request was once again sidelined. Every request we made was sidelined as staff tried to manage the busy rush (understaffed? chaotic atmosphere not handled well). I noticed several other customers waiting for very long for their food as did we. When cutlery finally arrived it was thrown on the table in a bundle. Honestly felt like I was in a fast food restaurant, extremely causal way of service. Felt very careless and strange. I usually don’t notice how important customer service is until it’s bad. We’d ask people for help and they would constantly tell us their colleague would help us because they were busy ( basically passing the task around, leading to no one doing it). I really did feel like a burden or an annoying customer stopping the speeding staff just for my requests to be ignored in the rush of their work.

I can understand the longer wait time for food and to be seated as it was a busy night, but the way staff handled the situation was very poor and unfortunate as I’m sure it’s not a reflection of how the café usually is on regular days. Staff should be better trained for these kind of rushes as this was our first experience here and it wasn’t great. Very grateful to the workers who tried their best during the stressful and tiring time but a better structure/management should be done to split tasks evenly and improve customer service. Food tasted good but experience was really dampened by service. I hope this can be fixed as the place is really beautiful and menu options...
