Not the "smart and seductive" piano bar we hoped for or that is advertised. We arrived in the early evening on a Friday. There was only one other couple in the restaurant, another joined shortly after. Having not booked we weren't allowed to sit at the normal tables and were relegated to an area with small round tables by the drafty open door. Numerous main tables remained empty during our entire stay which lasted over 2 hours. Staff didn't make any effort to check bookings or try to fit us into the normal tables. We placed a drinks order quickly and this came soon after. We had looked at the food menu that was printed alongside the drinks but were soon offered a dinner set menu which we thought we would also like to view before deciding. This is where it got interesting. The £49 per person set menu was almost a replication of the menu we had already viewed except we couldn't compute a single combination of dishes for which the set menu would be anything other than a rip off. Of every dish shared by the two menus, the most expensive combo we could make was £42 so the £49 set menu is a complete con and to be ignored. Please ensure you do not let them charge you for the set menu if ordering dishes also available on the main menu. Having made our choices, we then felt, given that we were now only 1 of 2 tables, the staff appeared to look away each time they passed. We eventually had to signal to them to place our order. When our food arrived, as the staff went to walk away, we had to remind them we still needed cutlery. The main courses were distinctly average (photos attached) and is exactly the same as you can get in any other part of Oran Mor. We ordered a dessert, the brownie, the cutlery this time came quickly. 30 minutes later the staff checked on us, maybe becaue we were nursing our drinks by this point and we informed them we were still waiting on our dessert. There was then a flurry of staff scurrying back and forth with mutterings and pointing at our table from the till point. Clearly the order had been forgotten about and yet despite the muttering and us overhearing "2 minutes for the brownie" nobody ever came back to communicate to us why it ultimately took 40 minutes for a dessert which we asked for not to be heated so should have been a doddle to serve. The brownie was fine and not "cakey" as can be the case with some. We quickly asked for the bill. It came, I immediately noted the wording, stating a 10% discretionary tip is included, but it wasn't. The staff then came back to whip away that version apologising because they forgot to add the tip and a new version was placed down to which we politely asked if we could not give the discretionary amount due to the poor experience and service my partner described as "lackluster". We paid an appropriate lower tip and left. It was now after 8pm on a Friday night and still no sign of any live or recorded piano music or piano bar vibes in the place. I would say just stick to the main bar as this venue adds nothing in terms of menu choice or ambience. I hope this isn't a sign of decline coming from new investors/owners the G1 Group aka the Scotman Group

During graduation week they managed to squeeze us in at late notice. Our starter of venison was excellent, the main was very tasty and the dessert (pictured) was an excellent panne cotta. Service was good, friendly staff and had some excellent wine. Would recommend.

Clean, tidy and stylish with reasonable prices. Only metered street parking available nearby. Great venue for live music events.

Poor from the start. They infer that you must book and that it is adults themed piano bar to enjoy food, drink and chat. Nothing could be further from the truth. We arrived in good time, no one to ask if we had booked or show us to a pre booked table or booth. The place was jumping with what appeared to be a private party with Oran Mor stickers attached to clothing. We found a good booth at the back and we were joined by 7 friends who heard we were going there and they simply walked in off the street. So much for having to book. The piano man was struggling to be heard above the din. (Was very good when you could hear him) Of the 3 draft beers on tap, only Tennant’s was available. (Which was fine but not what was asked for) From the wine list I went through 4 bottles before finding one they actually had. I should add that when you could get served the bar staff were good and did their best. We were really really looking forward to the evening. Possibly excepted too much? Won’t be...

A Brilliant experience! We were delighted to see the Brassiere reopen! The food was absolutely amazing. Chef was very accommodating and even came to our table to check on us after what they deemed a wee wait, which was a lovely touch from him! (We didn't notice the wait in the slightest) Oscar looked after us really well as did the manager/host. A brilliant and very attentive team here. Excited to see them go from strength to strength...
