Love this café, just a stroll from the main street. The guys running it are genuinely friendly and accommodating. My usual is a cheese scone, not warmed. Love the kick of cayenne. Major plus is the butter is spreadable and not like a brick from being straight out of the fridge. Had family in for lunch recently. Decent menu on offer with amazing prices. Highly recommend.

The French Onion soup is a must have. I am not a professional chef or even a qualified food critic, but I love French Onion soup. I will typically try it whenever its offered on a menu. I can honestly say this place has among the best, if not the best, French Onion soup I have ever had. Anywhere. It was so good I ordered a second bowl. Plus the scones were very tasty. More importantly, Craig and Mark were wonderful hosts and a pleasure to be around. Clearly they have a passion for their tea room that shows in the warm way they treat their customers. Can not recommend this tea room highly enough and can't wait to come...

Craig & Mark were gracious hosts during our visit to their tea room. The French onion soup was delicious… so delicious that my husband ordered seconds! After looking up "the best scones in Perth," I went with haste to Geoge St. Tea Room. I had to take everything to go. The scones were superb, especially the cheese. I also ordered each type of quiche. WOW. The best quiche I have ever had and I love quiche. My husband agreed. Lovely owners! We had to get coffee, which was good.
