This is got to be the worst place to go for breakfast it’s called Helen’s / it should be called howling !!! I went here for the first time and definitely my last time absolutely disqusting food everything about it the smell of the tunnel leading down to the shop was just horrendous it smelled like a mix of dead bodies and rotten fish, I got my son a beef burger and it was so thin you could barley see it the burgers they use are from Farmfoods there 10 for £1.50 and have the cheek to charge £5 a pop , they use very cheap products mayonnaise from aldi tomato sauce from aldi etc , don’t recommend this place to my worst enemy its that bad my son was giving a burger bun harder than a bank safe 😂 , spent £46.75 here and it wasnt even worth £2 mac and chips was 12.50 alone and it was asiff she had mixed raw egg with milk to make the sauce !! maybe if the women was less interested in trying to make herself look better rather than looking after her cafe it might improve the slightest but definitely never be back here again utterly disappointing , people like this shouldn’t be in the food industry if they don’t know how to run it properly / didn’t wash hands / rude attitude / very high prices for extremely low product / SHOULD BE SHUT DOWN HAS RAT TRAPS OUT IN THE OPEN SITTING AREA THE MAN IN THE BACK HAS LONG GREASY HAIR AND IS HANGING OVER YOUNASKING ARE YOU ENJOYING THIS EVERYTHING OK...
Read more1st time visiting. Lady with blonde hair took order then told us it would be a while as they were busy with just eat takeaway orders and only one cook in.
Ordered french toast with bacon, and a baked potato with tuna mayonnaise and added extra of cheese.
Waited 15 minutes for this food and when it arrived it looked awful.
Baked potato was bare, no butter and the tuna mayonnaise piled not on top but to the side. They forgot my cheese, took my plate away and arrived back with a pitiful amount of cheese. The tuna mayonnaise tasted off. So I hardly touched it.
The french toast was soggy and bacon burnt.
The bill for the above and 2 cans of coke came to £23!!

No questions were asked if I enjoyed my meal when clearly my plate was returned with the food not eaten.
I do not recommend this place at all. Food disgusting, overpriced and the swearing and arguing amongst themselves was a joke to...

It was only then we realised the café has changed hands, and sadly it really shows – the standards have dropped noticeably. The person who served us also had visibly dirty hands, with black under his nails, which was very off-putting.
This used to be one of our favourite spots, but sadly it has gone downhill, and we left feeling very...
