Lock 27 — Restaurant in Scotland

😡😡 I STRONGLY RECOMMEND YOU AVOID THIS PLACE FOR A MEAL 😡😡 We went for a family meal on Saturday 13th for a leaving party for my Stepdaughter and I can say I will never go back & I will never recommend the Lock 27 to anyone 😡 I always order Steak Medium however when I got mine it was Medium on the outside but totally raw inside it was still Mooing on my plate 😡 we told tge staff right away and my sister inlaw sent hers back to be cooked further however when it was returned it was completely burnt on the outside and still raw in the inside 😡 mu Niece ordered chicken Fajitas her veg was completely burnt and she only got one piece of chicken 😡 the staff took hers away to get her a fresh dish, however after waiting half an hour and she still hadn't had her's replaced we cancelled her's and she shared her mum's dinner as they were serving other tables the same dish and still hadn't replaced her's 😡CUSTOMER SATISFACTION NONE WHAT SO EVER 😡 I left mine as I was completely disgusted 😡 the staff were very apologetic however the manager never came near us 😡 So due to the fact it was a family meal I wasn't going to get into an argument with a manager that didn't care about his customers experience we paid & left 😡😡😡😡 I STRONGLY RECOMMEND YOU AVOID THIS PLACE IF YOU ARE LOOKING...

Would have been a 4 out of 5 but the male bar staff trying to tell me off infront of other customers dropped it! Lovely place, food was lovely and in a great spot for fishing/cycling etc! Visited with my two boys and 2 dogs(1being a pup). Kids cheese burger and chips, great price and not bad tasting, standard burger and kid was happy! My older son had wings again spot on! I got the baked potatoe with chilli, potato was still hard in a few spots but the chilli was lovely! Warm day and lovely spot honestly. I was just annoyed as my wee boy passed the puppy to me over the table and the male staff member decided to shout across the beer garden... ehhh not on the table luv! I was mortified! She wasn't staying on the table and he only did it that way as she leaped out his arms to me. Maybe watch a little before you open your mouth! Not sure what difference bird crap, ducks, swans that jump on it, poop on it...what the difference is between them and my pup leaping over to me. She is literally out on her second walk. As you could see her mum is well behaved and trained and she also will be one day but for a place that's "dog friendly" maybe observe a little first.... just a...

I recently lost my Mum and as Lock 27 was close by to all her family and friends, we decided to have her Wake after the funeral at the Lock. I’d asked to be catered for about 35 people and when we walked in we were blown away by the friendliness of the staff on duty and the spread of food that greeted us on our arrival. Home made lentil soup, wonderful selection of sandwiches, chicken strips, sausage rolls, pakora bites, etc , tea coffee, . and delicious little desserts!! Most folk stayed all afternoon and it took us a good few hours to get through it all! I’d asked Chris, the owner to play a wee video of my Mum on the big TV and he set up his computer so we could show the video which all her friends and family adored. A lovely touch and it turned what can be a difficult day into an absolute delight which a lot of Mum’s friends said she would have loved. I found myself back at Lock 27 today for a neighbour’s funeral and yet again they got a great send off! I would heartily recommend Lock 27 for this type of event and I never really leave reviews, but credit where credit’s due. Very...
