Great place to come for food or drink day or night. I would recommend night though as it is quite beautiful with a sense of being outside but well sheltered. The layout of the cobble underfoot really accommodates that feeling and the lighting feels like you are under stars. Perfect if you are looking to impress a date. There is a wide selection of places dine and drink within the venue that will satisfy any palate.

Read moreI love the craft fair in Merchant Square! It's on every weekend and is indoors so whatever the weather, you can have a good browse without worrying about getting wet/blown away/cold. Surrounded by fab places to eat and drink, it's the perfect relaxing Sunday treat. The stalls are varied and often change with different sellers but lots of regulars too. You can find some amazing and very reasonable gifts or treats from cakes to jewellery or artwork and soaps. I love having a wander around what's on offer!

Read moreLovely dining venue/ food court in Glasgow if you are ever between George Square and Old High Street. The food range from breakfast to steaks so everything in between is a go. Well kept and some days they have special events in the centre of the complex. Ranging from Book stalls to paintings and crafts. No live music but on special occasions I have seen artists performing. At Christmas time its extra special though.
