I popped in for a quick burger and took advantage of their deal that included a pint as well for £10. Any pint is included in the deal but their more specialised burgers aren't.

The weather was nice so I sat outside, after a few minutes someone appeared to take my order.

I had a pint of staropramen and a blue burger. The pint was good, not cold, but still very pleasant... to be honest it barely touched the sides.

The burger had a blue cheese sauce on it, with bacon. There was a pickle skewered to the top. The burger was good and so was the bacon, nice and crispy. I'd have preferred a bigger beef patty, and actual blue cheese.

At £10 the price was pretty good, considering how much a decent pint is these days, and turnaround was quick.

Note that chips or salad isn't included though, so if you fancy those it could become a bit on the pricey side for a quick burger.

I'd recommend coming here for a bite in the afternoon that wouldn't leave you too full later in the day. However you could easily load up on beers and extras like slushy cocktails to make an event of it... and the vibe of the place seems well geared towards that.

Accessibility wise - if the weather is good and eating outside, it shouldn't be a problem. I sat at a long picnic style bench however... which would make sitting in a wheelchair where I was quite difficult. There were other tables available but I can't comment on the height of them to fit legs under while in a wheelchair.

The inside of the restaurant appeared roomy however, and I'm pretty sure wheelchair users could be accommodated, but I'd recommend calling ahead to make sure a suitable table is available or to prepare staff to move things a little bit. The ambience inside would probably be worth it as it's got a good kind of Americana vibe to it.

I didn't use the toilet to be able to comment on the suitability of the wc for...

We've always said we will try this place and somehow never got to before. Today was a date night , cinema then munchies...so we decided to finish the day with finally visiting this place.

We both had burgers ,one beef and one lamb - the lamb one was exceptional. It was the best lamb burger I've ever had to be honest. Everything was just right about it.

And the stuff in general seemed to be ,polite and friendly

Let me mention at this point that while we were eating I asked the barman if I could get a glass of TAP water .

We enjoyed the meal in overall, however ..

Once we've left the place my partner informed me that we were actually charged £4.95 for a that single glass of TAP water that I'm confident the barman filled up straight from the tap.

To say I was shocked is an understatement.

£4.95 ?! Let me say the burgers were around £8 each . My milk shake was £4.95... so where is sense in this ? If at the time of serving the tap water the boy would have let us know we are going to be charged this much for it I wouldn't care about how impolite it looked and would have just had a drink of the water that I had in my bag at the time.

We enjoyed the food but this single thing spoilt it to the point that we will not be back .

For £4.95 we could have had a whole pack of water and some change left...or let me say a side order of your chips...

A...

Wow...please dont go here if you are in a large group. They have no idea how to process orders, deliver food or drink, or provide customer service. Our large group all ordered their food at approximately the same time, which was about 30 minutes after our first order of drinks...which had not arrived. When drinks were finally brought, it was one at a time by servers that looked and sounded a bit annoyed that we were spending money. We were served 1 drink the whole night, despite asking 3 or 4 times. Food...yes tasty but the wait was ridiculous. My partner and I ordered but our food was delivered an hour apart. The orders were chaos and didn't work, with wrong orders, returns and missing food being normal. By the time of leaving, there were items being charged for that hadn't been delivered, both food and drink. Even though it was argued that orders had not arrived, this place refused to accept they had made a mistake. Yes it was their mistake. Their ordering system was shocking and I feel sorry for those having to deal with this. Without our party this place would have been dead on a Saturday night...I...

I think if you are going in as someone with no dietary requirements then this restaurant would be very good. However as someone who has Coeliac and is vegetarian I felt like I was being treated as an inconvenience just for asking what options would be available before sitting down. I understand that not everyone knows automatically what is suitable for everyone on their menu but it's not nice to have that question answered with an attitude. The gluten free pizza was ok but it did feel like I'd ordered off of the kid's menu as it was quite small. The attitude towards my dietary requirements was the worst part for me though. Now knowing the pizza is gluten free I would eat there again if I was in a pinch.

Hit the Road Jack! The staff were nice and friendly, when I first went in 4 members of staff asked if we were being see to as we waited on a table. We ordered drinks, then the food. I had to chase my drinks order, I got my drinks just before my food and I ordered the drinks as soon as I came in. It was the same the second time I ordered drinks, I had to wait ages and then chase my drinks order. The veggie burger had the wrong toppings on the burger and when asking for a glass of water, the glass was really dirty, disgusting actually. Overall the food was OK, nice burgers. I'd go back, but I'd want better service next time or I probably won't go back again.
