There were 6 of us booked into Nando's for a family birthday meal. I had booked a booth, and one was ready for us.
Most of us shared two of the full chicken platters which were great! Loads of healthy side orders to choose from, which came with the platters.
One of our party who is sensitive about her food, and has to watch what she eats, ordered the Supergrain Salad with plain chicken breast, which looked great, but for her the chicken wasn’t plain enough,
as it did have some slight marinade on it, and she also felt that there was seasoning on the salad as well, that she wasn’t enjoying.
She spoke to our server Nathan at the table, who tried to resolve the issues, and then she also spoke to the managers at the counter,
who listened very patiently to her requests for something else that would not have any seasoning.
Within a few minutes Jack brought her some lovely sweet potato, corn on the cob, and plain chips, that she was very happy with. All at no extra cost!
We would like to thank all the staff at Stirling Nando's for making our experience an enjoyable one. We...
Read moreWe both had the Peri-Peri medium 1/2 chicken with chips.
The food was good. Really tasty chicken and the chips were ok too. Can't say I'm mad about the sauce. It was ok. Tried the other sauces too. The hottest was too hot for me. But found them all a bit lacking flavour. It was the chicken that was tasty.
The thing that puts me off going back is this self service thing.
When I take my wife out for a meal, I like to order with a waiter (although, not waiting an hour to be served). I like them to bring my drink and provide my cutlery, napkins and condiments. Or even for these things to be on the table.
But this idea of here's your glass go fill it yourself is dreadful. Here's your meal, but if you want anything else, go find it for yourself.

Read moreWe went into the 'resturant' to kill time before our film started in the cinema next door. We all decided to get chips of varying sizes (bar one of us who got a chocolate cake also). The chips would have tasted alright were it not for them being only just noticeably undercooked. Deciding The chips needed a bit of taste we went to the condiments to see what there was to cover the taste of starch. We decided on tomato sauce, garlic peri-peri sauce and vinegar, which was met with a sarcastic remark from the staff. The exterior is better than the service, price, and food combined - as it is right next to the cinema. Luckily the drinks have unlimited refills, however by the time you've got your money's worth from it you have consumed 3 litres. (12 refills) needless to say we made the most of this. As we did with the...
