best place we've ever eaten at !

we were staying opposite Toast , at Stirling Central Premier Inn , when we were looking for somewhere for breakfast. found several reviews of Toast (all positive) and decided to go over. Best decision we ever made ! So much choice for all tastes - yes, there is a breakfast but so much more. we initially tried scrambled eggs on toast, an omelette and poached eggs . Delicious ! Everything is cooked fresh to order and in the order that food was ordered so everyone is served fairly - no takeaways taking precedence over dining-in. This makes sure that nobody waits any longer than anyone else. Tables are available inside and out, also breakfast type bars around the room, maximising the space available. If there are no tables free, staff quickly clear tables to get you in. We also went another day for lunch - the halloumi and mushroom burger with rocket & sour cream sauce was outstanding - so much so we ordered 2 for takeaway to eat in the car before heading home. There's a good choice of burger, omelette , paninis and sandwiches . Hot drinks are very reasonably priced too. Staff are so lovely - unfortunately we didnt get any names, but they were all friendly & chatty. We loved it so much we are hoping to call in again in October when we travel up on...

Visiting Scotland for the first time, found toast in Stirling. Welcomed in by staff. My partner has nut allergy and the staff checked pesto (sometimes has cashews in), my partner was ready to go without pesto, but without asking the staff checked with the chef what’s in it and if there are nuts. Consequently my partner didn’t miss out on her pesto with her veggie breakfast. So that was great. She encouraged me to write this review because how happy she was with her food and service.

For me, personally I looked at the menu and I was struggling to make a decision because the availability of great potential choices. I had the traditional breakfast, which was spot on, the potato scone was a new one for me and it was really delightful. The eggs were perfect. The ingredients all fresh. The staff were really lovely. Well done to you all a well deserved five stars. Thank you for the great food, it’s really got our holiday off to a...

Have to say I love Toast. Always have. My husband, I and our little boy have been going there for yrs. James our son now 20yrs old. Food always good. Staff normally good. However today we went. I ordered a bacon and cream cheese bagel and coffee. 1st bagel came. It was burnt. So mentioned to staff. She replaced the bagel, again came back burnt, along with the bacon also burnt. Considering it's £10 for a bagel and coffee. U expect to all be good. But the thing that annoyed me was the staff. They made me feel awkward cos I said something. We always complement food and staff. And always leave a tip. As deserved. But have to say. If customers say something, then maybe staff should listen without attitude. Amazing place. But not a good experience...

Toast is a small, cozy cafe with good food. Since I went around noon by myself, it was pretty crowded, but I only had to wait less than five minutes to be seated. The staff were very pleasant when helping me. I got the grilled chicken and pesto on focacia bread which was scrumptious. The only reason I am giving four stars rather than five is because the chocolate milkshake I ordered was terrible. It was not very flavorful and was very watery with a milk-like consistency. Overall, I would visit again for the delicious food!

The food I ordered was delicious and the staff were friendly and very efficient when it comes to the service. However, that was not what I ordered. The menu clearly says "FOCACCIA" and what I got was just... regular bread. It was very disappointing as this was not even close to what focaccia is. They should change what the menu says if they intend on serving something that is the complete opposite!! I ordered that specific thing because I missed having focaccia so you can understand the disappointment in receiving bread.

This little Cafe shows class as you walk in and lives up the the Morris and Co. Wallpaper. The menu looks large, but it's cleverly built so everything can be made fresh and to your specifications. Swapping out tomato's to mushrooms, to going completely off menu. The staff were excellent, clearly work hard and don't let the busy workload impact there service. It's a great eat, enjoy it (Walk past the Nandos, you'll be pleased).
