It was my birthday today. So, I went out to have some fun to lurgs. The weather was awesome and the sea side was amazing. I was looking for a restaurant where I can find Halal food. Then I thought, vegetarian option would be fine with me too. The first restaurant came to my notice by the ferry was this one. I and my friend went inside and took a seat for having lunch. We had to wait a little to make a table available for us. We ordered vegetarian salad, BTS filled rolled, coffee and tap water along with banana waffle and NANA waffle. When we started eating, I realised the food was really good. The presentation was better than some other places too. I liked the way they served the food in a plate. I liked that. We ate the main meal and then went for the waffle. I would have to say they tasted really really good. I live sweet and all, but they were delightful to eat. If I visit Largs again, I will have my meal here. I have to mention the girl who served us with a very welcoming vibe, Christie. Thanks for the meal and heartful environment.

During my family’s visit to Largs, we came here daily for coffee, breakfast and ice cream/ gelato (Best gelato anywhere!) The atmosphere is warm and friendly. You can tell it’s where the locals and tourists converge and there is something here for everyone. The walls are adorned with pictures of the past and a rich history of the area and the family which leaves you feeling nostalgic for times long past. The coffee is a taste of Italy in Scotland. We enjoyed starting our day here and I felt like I could sit here all day listening to the conversations of the local patrons. The atmosphere is comforting like a warm blanket on a chilly day. The staff makes you feel at home and the food ensures you will be a returning customer. You’ll want to visit this place if you are planning a trip to Largs.

Love this cafe! Lots of options from small bites to full meals, incl. great scones, bacon rolls, toasties, and Italian specialties. And the ICE CREAM is superb-- way better than any other place in town. Try the deluxe vanilla for a start.-- wow. The other flavors are also fab. Made to the original Nardini recipe, and it's ice cream heaven. Host Claudio Nardini is friendly and attentive to the details. We went back several times, always a treat!

This place serves mostly as a desert bar serving ice cream and sundaes however has a poor food menu along side it Majority of which is just sandwiches rolls toasties. To have only 4 pasta dishes on offer we ordered spaghetti bolognese and lasagna. I'm an ex chef so know the tricks of the trade but was disgusted to se a bowl with said bolognese already atop the spaghetti go into chef Mike (microwave) Priced at 8.50 the food was a complete letdown bland sauve over cooked pasta Partner ordered lasagne with was more liquid sauce and bechemel with a sparsely addition of some meat Staff were very blasé and were like vultures returning to tables after only giving you the bunch of menus (3) and expexting your order afte 2 mins. Staff showed poor menu knowledge. On ordering drinks I asked about what in the menu was listed as a selection of bottled beers to which there was only 2 I asked which beers to be responded with morreti and a Greek beer. Luckily having past worked in hospitality I was able to negate playing guess who and blurted out mythos to which I recieved a nod.

On leaving paid bill withholding a tip
