Been a few times and would go back. Was a bit disappointed with their goats cheese salad as it was just a bowl of mixed lettuce leafs a few nuts but a nice portion of cheese, Would have been nice to have other vegetables beetroot or peppers anything in it lol, Their loaded fries are a swim of cheese sauce ok if you like soggy chips I didn't like this spice in them either, the lentil soup is lovely the Haggis bon bons are amazing and their cocktails are nice just a shame they didn't have all the ingredients for some of them. Love their onion rings as a side, their burgers and chips are good love the coleslaw that comes with them. Liked the banoffee pie but the base of it was as soil as a brick to cut into 🤣😂 nice atmosphere friendly service spacious didn't feel like we were cramed in. There is a toilet in the ladies that's like fresh air fortnight a big vent blows cold air on you brrr 🥶was just unfortunate that was the toilet I used just a heads up if you see it when you open the cubical door ladies keep...

Have visited Room a few times now for drinks and the staff are amazing, nice relaxed atmosphere. We were there on 3rd Feb for a Burns Supper, it was £20/person and included a 3 course meal with entertainment, we weren’t expecting much for the price of the ticket but my goodness were we in for a fab surprise. On arrival we were greeted by the staff and made to feel so welcome. The area was beautifully decorated with large candelabras and lovely soft lighting. The night started with drinks and highland dancing followed by a Burns recital, then our food arrived, haggis Bon bobs to start which were piping hot and delicious followed by steak pie, mash and clap shot, equally delicious, finishing off with cheese and biscuits, lovely! The speakers were absolutely top notch, the staff and service was superb, thank you Stephen McDonald and the team, it was a fabulous night! Although you could have charged much more for such a...

On entering Room it was hard to know where to sit, it wasn't busy inside there were just lots of uncleared tables so we were unsure if people would be coming back for the drinks. The couches, while comfortable, need a really good clean, i would NOT have eaten there. The glasses our drinks were given to us in were warm which made the drink warm very quickly. On the second round of drinks, when getting a glass of wine, the wine was served with lots of bits of something floating in it! Once we had finished all of our drinks, the glasses were finally taken away (including the 3 that sat there from before we had arrived). However the staff member must have been new as she had no idea how to balance the tray with a few glasses and dropped one which smashed around our feet! Unclean and unprofessional place, will...

This is a great wee spot. The decor is very cool, with the tree tunnel image giving the restaurant a really cool vibe. We sampled a few cocktails and also had our evening meal here. The staff were friendly and helpful, we asked lots of questions about items at the bar. The food was delicious, they have a selection of Mexican themed menu items, as well as traditional menu offerings, so there is something for everyone. We had Fish Tostada, Cheese Quesadilla, Baja Tacos and a Cajun Chicken & Coconut Curry - all absolutely delicious and very reasonably priced.

First visit to Room with a friend. It was spacious and clean inside. When we walked in, tall girl greeted us with a big smile on her face. She's so friendly and lovely. Food were freshly cooked and piping hot. It was so yummy. We would definitely come back here again. My friend ordered fajitas. My apologies emptied hot plate in the picture. She stuffed her face too quick before I had the chance to take picture lol. Thank you to the chefs and the lovely staff too. Toilets were spotless.

Woke up today and didn't want to cook so we went to The Room in Largs where we both had the Ayrshire special Eggs Benedict and omg perfection on a plate. Organic eggs poached and perfectly runny, Ayrshire ham, Arran black pudding on focacia bread and off course hollandaise sauce. Beautiful.
