Sami's Majestic Takeaway — Restaurant in Scotland

Simple but delicious takeaway. The ingredients feel very fresh and good quality. The place is small (since it's just a takeaway) and old since he's been here a while, but definitely didn't seem dirty, quite opposite, it was pretty clean. Sami himself is lovely and somehow manages to run the place all on his own. Since the man needs a break, sometimes he might be closed (usually Mondays and Tuesdays possibly) so don't rely on Google for opening times. But definitely worth a visit if you're in the area and he's open.

Cash only so we were initially disappointed, but we figured it out because we like to support small local businesses. Turns out there's an ATM at the bank 1 minute away so it was actually very easy.

Best dinner place we ate from in Stonehaven for sure. Would be back if passing...

Oh my gosh! The food here is absolutely delicious. The chicken melted in my mouth and was marinated perfectly.

The doner meat was hands down the best I’ve eaten.

Portion sizes are huge and the gentleman in the shop was wonderful to talk to. A true hidden gem in Stonehaven.

You can tell the owner invests in the produce because the food is very high quality!

Our neighbor highly recommended Sami’s over local alternatives but we hadn’t had a chance to try them as their opening hours are more restricted.
