Simply Delicious — Restaurant in Scotland

I only went here for food because it had wall to wall 5 star reviews on here and on trip advisor. So here I am to add my own. First of all, the welcome. 3 happy, smiling faces, funny stories, great banter and most important of all, enthusiasm for what they do seeping out of every pore. So we ordered big burgers with skinny fries, and they were ludicrous in the best possible way. Freshly made and properly stacked, they were a proper faceful of food that didn't make me feel too bad about myself afterwards. We went back for hot chocolates after we'd finished our food, because we'd been told not to miss them. So I'm telling you this too, don't miss them. Even if you're just passing and not even stopping to eat, don't miss the hot chocolates. Best I've ever had. A lot of the time I don't go near "fast food" places on the west coast, but this effort shows that it is still possible to do fast food really well from the simplest of set-ups. Had seen good reviews so thought we'd try it. We were not disappointed, the food was delicious, the portions were massive, the burger was great and the hot dogs very tasty, there was not a single complaint from the family(which is unheard of). The staff were also very friendly, after I said I wasn't happy there was no white hot chocolate the chef rhymed off all the different flavours but stopped at Raspberry Ruffle flavour saying that he highly recommended it. He was so confident I would like it he offered it to me for free if I didn't!! I tried to kid on I wasn't impressed but my smile gave me away!! It was lovely. He then offered me something else, he produced a bakewell, ice cream, and strawberry sauce dessert which was absolutely delicious!! Again, this was offered free of charge!! We've already decided we're going back tomorrow for breakfast rolls....

What can I say the name says it all the food is simply delicious and the service is brilliant too. We arrived just as they were trying to get cleaned up for the night and the staff happily made us a couple of double dare you burgers and fries. Giving us some great recommendations too. We returned the next morning to try the battered tattie scone and wow, honestly would never have thought of it but again simply delicious. So much so we returned for another the following day. We also got to try the Thai yer dug up hot dog which was also delicious. Wish we had made it back before leaving to try more but we will definitely be back the next time...
