Read moreHere this evening, my family and I had a good meal.
It's great to be able to try different food and whatever I try here doesn't disappoint. It also provides my children with an opportunity to be more adventurous although having said that I did see a copious amount of chicken nuggets and chips being consumed this evening alongside a few nibbles of new tastes here and there.
Love the street food station, order what you'd like to try of a select menus and they bring a sample sized portion of it to your table - you can reorder as many times as you like.
Great starters - king prawn pakora is delicious and they serve the best onions bhajis I've had in an Indian restaurant. Good selection of salad and sauces to accompany any part of your meal.
It's a shame the dessert station has to be manned now adays, i understand why they have to do it but given I'm a child when it comes to puddings I prefer to serve my own ice cream and gummy bears 🤣
Had a not great experience here 9(ish) years ago, being asked to cover my breast feeding babies head and face with a thick blanket in an already stifling hot restaurant, when I declined I was asked to move to a seat right beside the toilet door where everyone would have to squeeze past me, i declined again. It wasn't a nice experience at all but having returned (no longer breast feeding 🙃) I'd say I'm happy to continue eating here and I recommend it to other people when they ask for eating places in Dundee.
It's good value for money, the food is always very good, staff are helpful and quick to clear your table. The establishment is clean and adheres to current...
Read moreAfter visiting these premises before, without my children food was okay. And thought I'd try again and I brought my daughter who is 1 and my son who is a 6 year old severely autistic boy with alot sensory issues.
which I explained as I came into the restaurant his needs and they were not brought into consideration at all. I explained he would only eat chicken nuggets which then they proceeded to bring out chips and chicken nuggets with tomatoe sauce. So clearly never listened to me as his autism is severe he will not entertain the food especially having other food that he does not eat on the same plate.
As the 5 tiny tiny chicken nuggets which they gave him was not enough not even enough for a 1 year old child let alone a 6 year old. So I had to order 10 chicken nuggets spoke to a man who was not interested in listening to me. So then I went and asked a lovely young girl who was the waitress and was so very understanding of his needs and said to the kitchen specifically not to put anything on the plate that is not chicken nuggets, they brought once again chicken nuggets with chips and tomatoe sauce. When I complained at the end yes there was an apology but did not see no sympathy from them. No resolution to the future to make sure kids with disabilities have as much of a right to get what they order as anyone else would.
However the girl who worked there and gentlemen behind the till was soo lovely couldn't get a nicer pair to help us. So thank you two these two lovely staff members appreciate...
