I would like to share my experience of this cafe when I had the unfortunate situation of a flat tyre and the dreadful treatment from breakdown recovery GreenFlag . The cafe owner was incredibly kind and although closed he made me an egg roll and tea, then after several hours when he was still in cleaning, he allowed me access to the toilet, THEN came out to my car some time after this, when he noticed I was STILL waiting to be recovered, and brought me tea and two chocolate biscuits and would not accept payment. His kindness was above and beyond, he even waited with me until he knew I was going to get home safely, by now it was 01.30 !! GreenFlag were not at all concerned . I can’t thank you enough Angelo (apologies if this is not the correct spelling) the food and piping hot tea was just what I needed as I sat for hours in the car. I will def be back and look forward to trying your home made ice cream next time. Many many...
Read moreI came here for the first (and only) time after a long walk and wanted to sit down and found this place passing by. Looked intriguing from the outside so I walked in. From there it all went downhill. I was served by a verbally abusive old man. Called me stupid when I asked if they still serve morning rolls in the afternoon and that I didn't order my roll together with my tea (because I didn't know if they were still serving rolls in the afternoon, there was also no menu to specify what they sell and what times etc). I initially wanted to sit down here but after the abuse I received I changed my mind and left after I got my roll. Really unfriendly, unprofessional and unwelcoming. If I could give minus stars, I would. You're probably not wondering but just in case you were, would I be back? Not in a...
Read moreThis is a family run business covering 3 generations being 90 years old. The owner is a friendly, interesting, chatty man who makes you feel at home. His prices are very reasonable compared to the shops on the high street. I feel this shop has been forgotten about simply because it has been a part of Jordanhill for such a long time. I would recommend trying it out. You won't be...
