Thank you for providing the most amazing venue, service and support throughout the whole process!We just want to thank you all for making Saturday so special for us, it was truly the best day of our lives and was everything we wanted and more. The support and care we received from Tabbi was exceptional, she is a credit to the Corinthian and her hard work and attention to detail shouldn’t go unnoticed. Having Tabbi as our wedding co-ordinator made the whole wedding planning process feel so easy and seamless, she made everything so easy for us that we felt so relaxed, comfortable and most importantly safe to leave our wedding day in her and her amazing teams hands. Every single person that was involved in our day was incredible and we cannot thank them all enough. Everyone went above and beyond for us and the service was massively complimented by our guests.The food was outstanding, from the breakfast with the bride right through to the evening buffet. Our guests couldn’t stop talking about how amazing the food was and everything being served so professionally, in a timely manner and also tasting incredible!

This really was the wedding of our dreams and the perfect venue for us as a couple. If we could have designed our dream venue, it would have been the Corinthian. Everything was absolutely perfect, we have 0 faults from the day and also from the planning process. The professionalism shown by the whole team but Tabbi in particular is something that you should be so incredibly proud of. We will remember this day forever and the Corinthian will forever hold a very special place in our hearts and we cannot wait to come back time and time again for dinner and drinks. A massive shoutout to Tabbi, Liam and the gorgeous girls working the wedding (so sorry we can’t remember their names) for all of their hard work and just for generally being so lovely and accommodating! Both us and our guests couldn’t believe how incredible the day was, everyone said it was the best wedding they have been to, no one went hungry, the drinks were continuously flowing and every member of the team put our guests first and made sure that everyone was happy at all times. I don't even know where to start to describe our incredible wedding day at The Corinthian! From the moment we set foot in the Flying Scotsman we knew that is where we wanted to have our reception, so much so we didn't even view anywhere else. The Corinthian also offers so many different spaces and opportunities to really tailor your wedding to you as a couple, which is exactly what we did - choosing Charlie Parkers for our cocktail hour and then Private Parkers for our intimate meal - the banquet table set up in here quite literally took my breath away. We also had the Club available after the reception which was amazing for all of us who weren't ready to call it at midnight.

From the moment we met our wedding coordinator Tabetha, we knew we were in safe hands. She truly went above and beyond to make sure our day was perfect, even going as far as ordering in a Guinness Bar! Every single interaction we had with Tabetha made us even more excited as you could tell she genuinely wanted to make it special for us and we will be forever grateful! She also had a wonderful team on the day making sure everything ran smoothly. Our guests are still talking about how well organised the day was, all the extra little touches such as the signature drinks and digital welcome signs, the DJ and of course the food!! We have to credit the chefs as the food was faultless and it was really nice to have more options to choose from than just your usual chicken and beef.

We have been made to feel so welcome at The Corinthian every time we visit, from the door staff to the events team, bar staff and more. We chose the city centre venue as we wanted somewhere special that we could return to regularly and after our perfect wedding day, it will be hard not to visit every single time we're in town!

One star is being generous

I recently attended an afternoon tea at Corinthians, and I must say, it was one of the most disappointing experiences I’ve had. As someone who booked this event for a family gathering, I expected a lovely afternoon, but instead, it turned into a logistical nightmare.

Firstly, I was not informed about the split seating arrangement at the time of booking, which resulted in my group of 12 being seated at separate tables. This was incredibly frustrating, as it defeated the purpose of our gathering—being together as a family. If I had known about the seating plan, I would have chosen a different venue. In fact, I had originally booked with Marhall but cancelled in favour of Corinthians, which I now regret.

The service was equally appalling. The venue was clearly understaffed, with only one waiter covering two tables without trays etc. He was overwhelmed and unable to provide adequate service, leading to guests eating at different times. Our drinks arrived after most of our snacks were finished, and to top it off, several items were missing because they had been accidentally dropped on the floor. I was left wondering if some of those dropped items were placed back on the platter, which is quite concerning.

Despite the numerous issues, there were no apologies offered, nor any attempt to compensate us for the poor experience.

Overall, I am extremely dissatisfied with how the afternoon tea unfolded and would not recommend this venue if you’re looking for a well-executed event. I left feeling frustrated and disappointed, and I believe a full refund is warranted for the level of service we received. Save your time and money and look elsewhere for your...
