Big restaurant, where almost everything is possible. Delicious food, plenty kinds of meals, portions for everybody. Easy procedure for order. If you want, you choose anything at the pult and they bring it. If you want, you can choose food or drink in application, you pay and they bring it. You have more time for deciding, you can thinking about. If you order coffee or tea, they bring you empty cup and you serve yourself. Many brands alcohol free beers. Good choice for me, for couples, for friends, students and also for people all ages. The game machines can disturb you. Almost always it is crowded, but always you can find a table for your friends or group.

Weatherspoons in general are odd pubs to visit and this one is no exception. You have the young crowd sitting there on their phones, drinking cocktail jugs and barely looking at each other, then you have the old guys at the bar drinking half pints of ale with a wee dram chaser, plus this pub is always packed and always feels understaffed in the evenings. There's also no music or TVs to distract. The food is great for what you pay for it and the fact you can order on the app and get your food and drinks brought to the table is excellent. Although due to lack of staff the drinks coming to the table took longer than getting the food. I had the empire state burger which is a great burger if you're hungry, I managed to finish it but it deal feel like I was on an episode of man v food.

“Curry roulette, Dundee-style.” Popped into The Counting House for what I hoped would be a decent meal. Ordered the Chicken Tikka and a Katsu Curry. The Tikka? Passable. Not memorable, not awful – just kind of there. The Katsu Curry, however, was a journey. One half clearly spent the last hour slowly dying under a heat lamp, developing that crusty, reheated resentment only found in buffet leftovers. The other half was so cold it felt like it had just been defrosted by someone breathing on it. Honestly, it was like eating a meal made by two chefs who’ve never met and definitely don’t talk. If you enjoy lukewarm disappointment with a side of confusion, you’ll be in heaven. Otherwise, maybe stick to the drinks

Had the curry special which was good, also ordered. Samosas and Bhajis at an extra cost. Both were inedible, Bhakti was burn on the outside and uncooked in the middle, I would have needed a hammer to get into the samosas. Told the manager and he offered a coffee or a soft drink in their place, I was drinking beer so just told him I wanted my money refunded. The cost for both was £2.80 he told me he could only refund £1.50 he then left and sent a young lady over to explain why. I still have no idea why I didn’t get my full refund. As I said the curry was good but I won’t be using this location again, mainly due to the managers attitude.

It‘s a weatherspoon - you get what you expect. Quick and good prize. Longest hours for dining in Dundee, most close during the week by 9 or 10 pm, while they serve you here till 11. Breakfast offers pancakes too, unlike the wheatherspoon at Edinburgh airport. Ordering by App and credit card. You can therefore leave anytime. Tipps uncommon since nobody pays a waiter. Waiting for food even if crowded usually less than 10 minutes. Great for fun with the boys or your gang. Not my first choice for a romantic candle light dinner.
