Tasty food unfortunately let down by a number of glaring service standards issues that really undermined the pleasure of my food:
Firstly, for a place that is serving food eaten with the hands, I don't understand why they don't have napkins available anywhere but on request from behind the counter. You get ONE napkin with your food under your sauce pots, but it is literally the lowest quality, smallest and nonabsorbent napkin I have ever used. So you have to go up with greasy hands and stand in a queue trying to get the workers attention just for a something that should be readily available to customers. Second issue was the temperatures of what was being served: The meat was only lukewarm while the soft drinks were room temperature. Either the cabinet they store the drinks in isn't cold enough or they put unrefrigerated drinks in and then serve them immediately. Serving warm bottles of juice is just lazy and poor standards, especially when customers pay 50p extra for the fancy bottles on display. Why hand a customer bottles that your hand could obviously feel wasn't chilled while passing them???
Also not sure why they can't just ask what sauce/s you want on your Kebab and give you it ready to eat, rather than giving 3 tiny pots you have to open and put on yourself, especially considering you don't want saucy fingers with their apparent napkin shortage.
We won't be going back, which is a shame as it was purely the service standards rather than quality of food which let...
Read moreAfter the last visit, I'm a bit disappointed, the food was a little bit different. 😑 I understand that costs are rising and prices are going up, but if you increase the price, do not reduce the portions 🫤 the kebab is smaller, apart from the cabbage mixed with the meat so that it is not visible how much it is inside and was not to much(and with the extra portion for 2.99 it spilled out earlier) I didn't have any other vegetables, I got one sad slice of tomato and no sous. Previously, there were three sauces in the meal, now is only one, why? No souce on the kebeb...No souce on the side... not good guys!!! Last thing... cheesy fries are horrible, a lot of oil and oil flawor, and one small drop of the cheese. So disappointed
Request to staff: do not give cutlery to the customer by holding the side that goes into the mouth, it is unhygienic.
I will back there because I like your food but if anything change next visit will be my last one. Hope you understand.
IF YOU WANT TO INCREASE PRICES TO IT and believe me everybody will understand BUT DO NOT CUT THE PORTIONS BECOUSE YOU WILL LOSE GOOD OPINION AND CUSTOMERS.
See you soon Kind regards Eryk
P.S. Temporarily decrease my opinion...
Read moreThis is probably one of my absolute favorite places of all time. Literally fell in love with it since the first time I've tried it. I actually went at some point 4 times in one week, and twice in one of them days. It is literally great from every single aspect. Open until 11, instead of 10 or even earlier, like others. Yes, other smaller kebab places are open until very late at night, but at least this one is like a proper restaurant, and it's not small, filthy, or managed by dirty and shady-looking people. The quality of the meat is in my opinion really high, and the mix of chicken and beef is just divine. Prices are really good for how much you get in that kebab, and it truly fills you up when you get the meal. Probably only thing that I'd consider negative are the fries. They were actually good and tasty in the beginning until a couple of weeks ago, now they're a bit like fast food ones. Yet I have to say, still better than McDonald's. Staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. Great place. Great quality. Great price. I personally adore it. Worth trying...
