Overpriced food - toastie £4.50, served without even a hint of side salad or garnish, on uncleared tables. Servers struggled to smile. The shop was void of any cold drinks, the fridge empty and turned off, and the replacement cups of tea served in paper cups even though we sat at their own tables on the terrace out front. No wonder their tables were unoccupied whilst the adjacent premises on both sides were heaving with clients. Won’t be back here in a hurry.

Arrived early into Oban for a 3 day tour, dropped into Little Bay Cafe for an Espresso which was great & a tasty wee flapjack (couldn’t resist), cosy surroundings with nice views over the bay, tasty looking breakfasts & cakes with a special of coffee & a bacon roll for £3.50.... Chatty, cheery staff will definitely be back next time around.

We stopped by for a quick bite before hitting the road at 10 AM. It wasn't too busy on a rainy day and has a nice view of the Oban Harbor. We each had a ham and cheese toasty and coffee Americano. It was perfect for what we needed!!

Beware and count Your change!! Got peppermint and English breakfast in paper cups. Was charged £5. When I checked prices on the wall it clearly says £1.7 for paper cup tea and £2.5 for teapot. I went back and questioned the total, was told I had herbal teas and they are £2.5. No, I had EB and peppermint. Oh, ok, right. Was refunded 80p. When asked where it says herbal teas are £2.5 (it doesn’t say anywhere, all teas are the same price) I was told we sat at table outside so it’s £2.50 anyway. Not the point - they didn’t know we may sit outside when selling paper cup tea for the price of teapot one. Very dishonest and cheeky, not the way to run a customer focussed business. Also, lovely posh teas on display making you think that’s what you’re getting. Don’t keep your hopes up - you’ll get...

Cannot fault the food or cakes as they were amazing just the service on the takeaway of the cakes I bought the attitude of one member of staff was quite rude the young girl had asked another member of staff to cut a slice of cake had to wait 10 minutes + as she was so busy folding napkins it wasn't as if it was busy as i was the only one in shop felt quite awkward as I stood there and other customers came in and were served in fact the young girl had to ask again if she would cut a slice of cake for me the lady seemed to look quite annoyed and it was a bit of an inconvenience for her I know we all have off days but a smile doesn't...

No welcome, but we sat down. Asked for soup, told none available, asked for hot chicken strips, told no chicken strips, no prawns and no salmon (plus something else I can’t remember what she said). Bear in mind this was around 1230pm on bank holiday Sunday so not having all this food when it was going to be one of the busiest days was poor planning and shouldn’t be advertised. But what got us was it was NOT kid friendly. Asked for a buttered sandwich for my one year old. Told they could make it but they’d need to charge the same price as an adult sandwich. £8 for bread and butter?! We walked out at that point. Go next door...
