TERRIBLE TERRIBLE SERVICE!!!! The cafe is ran by 2 young girls and an older woman who look like they don't know what they're doing. The wait time was shocking!!! Baked Potatoe not cooked in the slightest anf sandwichs placed on the table and then waited an additional 30 minutes for soup that was from a can. When the soup was placed we were told that there was a "miscommunication". We heard a phone call where an online delivery order was cancelled as it took so long to arrive. The woman then told the customer to take the refund up with deliveroo. The table wasn't clean at all with leftover crumbs everywhere. The staff were far to occupied with online orders and the in cafe service was horrendous. No care for hygiene with only one staff member occasionally wearing a face covering. There was also no care to ensure customers were using track and trace.

This cafe not big but have very comfortable chairs near a round table and nice not noisy pop music. I ordered soup of day - butternut squash and sweet potato, classic potato, sponge cake and coffee latte. Soup of day were a little bit spicy, despite the fact that the waiter told me, that the soup is not spicy. Soup were tasty. Classic potato served with melted butter and cheddar cheese. Simple and tasty. The piece of sponge cake and coffee latte were tasty. Simple taste food. Thank you.

Popped in for breakfast the lady and girl were both lovely. Hubby and me both had the small breakfast which you pick 5 items from a list on the menu. We also had toast a green tea and a black coffee. The food was very tasty not a long wait for drinks, a bit of a wait for the breakfast 15-20 minutes (which the lady did say to us) but we weren't in a rush so was fine for us. I would definitely go back here.

From the moment we stepped through the door, the experience was nothing short of awful.

While one staff member was genuinely lovely, the older staff member’s behavior was shockingly rude - from the dirty looks we received to the cold, abrupt manner in which we were spoken to. The arrogance and complete lack of basic courtesy made us feel so unwelcome that we physically could not bring ourselves to give more than one star.

And that’s the real shame - because the food itself was perfectly fine. But no amount of good food could make up for being treated this poorly. We won’t...

June 2018. Good little café. Just popped in as we were passing through the town. We try to find independent places and avoid chain shops where possible. We picked this as it was the first place we found. We had mint tea served in a tall glass, a large americano coffee to drink. Soup of the day (tomato & basil) and a tuna salad roll. All for about £10. Food and drink was fine quality and quantity. Service was friendly and professional. You can park 2 mins walk away in the home...
