DELIZZI — Restaurant in Sefton

I came in with my 12 year old today for an impromptu brunch (teacher strikes). I worked out with him I’d been coming here for around 20 years as I used to work opposite at the newspaper, and it’s not hard to see why it’s still open and still so popular. We had the eggs royale and a bacon butty, milkshake and oat milk latte. It’s amazing how many bad Benedict’s I’ve had over the years but this was up there with one of the best! Perfectly cooked eggs, lovely thick hollandaise and beautifully presented with a nice portion of smoked salmon. Thick doorstop bread for the butty and he walloped his milkshake too. The owner is still as lovely and welcoming as I remember. Everything amazing and will be definitely coming back again...

overpriced food and drinks, yes they were "nice" but no nicer than most other cafes of its type in Southport. Tables are so close together you can hear everyone's conversation (and no I wasn't trying to!) and therefore they can hear yours (not that I disclose personal info in a café setting, but you'd be surprised what some people talk about and what I would rather they kept to themselves!). Handy if you are passing to/from the 3 carparks nearby, which is really the main plus point. But if you are in Southport anyway, just within minutes from here there are more than a dozen or more places to eat with a wider selection of food and hot meals with much more relaxed interiors and more...

NEW OWNERS TAJ AND IMRAN- Only took over a month ago -Our friendly, very welcoming, nothing is to much trouble if you ask about there menu. I've just had Imran's pasta carbonara which is to die for, and my husband has just had the full breakfast which he said was a 10/10.

We would highly recommend to everyone. Very clean cafe and it's being refurbished too

Been coming here for years and will continue to plus all there current staff are friendly and helpful aswell.
