Double check receipt? Excellent food & service. I've dined in & had deliveries and food always superb. This time I took friends and as always food was nicely presented and tasted delicious. However when asked for the bill it seemed quite high but I paid, thanked them and left not taking receipt. Once home I got menu out and worked out what we'd had and there was over £60 added to bill that I just can't account for. Not blaming them at all as if a mistake was made I'm sure it wasn't on purpose but I'm kicking myself for not taking and double checking the bill. Still it's best curry house around maybe in all of Merseyside and I'd recommend to all curry lovers. But again, double check bill receipt as mistakes happen which may or maynot be the case with me, who knows it could even be the right price but I somehow doubt it but with not having receipt to check I'll never know. it may incur a charge for eating in I don't know but pretty sure it wouldn't be over £60. I had a takeaway delivery that got delivered to the wrong person and required me to go on the hunt for it. The starter - Chicken Chat - was the smallest portion that barely covered the puri bread which accompanied it and it wasn’t too warm! The main course - Lamb Tikka Madras - had only 8 small pieces of very tough chewy bits of normal lamb in a lake of medium strength sauce instead of Hot spicy Madras, indicative of that dish. The Sag Aloo had only 3 small pieces of potatoes in it and the portion didn’t even reach half way up the small container it came in. This was the worst ever Indian takeaway I’ve ever had in more than 60 years of eating this cuisine - I am 70 years - and for a price of £28.80, the most expensive takeaway I have ever had the misfortune to receive. I would never recommend the Kasturi to anyone, indeed I would encourage people to avoid...

We wanted a place to eat midweek in Southport ,we had great be to Southport for a week in our caravan ,we remembered going to an Asian restaurant a year or so ago ,but didn't remember the name, so we went the road we thought it was on we found it !!! We couldn't book because we didn't know the name but on entering we where made very welcome ,our seat/ table was comfortable with a clean linen cloth and clean cutlery, and our waiter took our drinks order ,and then brought leather menus ,ae wide selection was available we made our choices and soon our starters came and it looked delicious, the whole experience...
