Hey Burger Southport — Restaurant in Sefton

Ordered on Uber Eats from the new Ormskirk restaurant as there is a promotion on currently. It took awhile, however the restaurant is still relatively new and with the promotion I expect it has been busy so I had predicted this.

The food was good, burger was amazing and they read my notes asking for certain ingredients off. The cheese fries were deceptive (in a good way) as it first appeared as though there was only a small spattering of cheese in the middle. However my disappointment was short lived as the cheese was all the way to the bottom! Something which is rare with any kind of cheesy fries. The onion rings were nice, however instead of receiving 5 I received 4 and then two of some kind of Mac and cheese triangle? They were nice and there were two of them in lieu of my missing onion ring so wasn’t a big deal, just thought it was odd as I couldn’t see a similar item on their menu. The only true disappointment was the small portion of mozzarella dippers! We wished we’d ordered 6 when we finished them.

Most horrific experience. Ordered a crepe and milkshake online for delivery. Description stated that it came with chocolate in which I am allergic to (not anaphylactic severe, but do get poorly when eaten) so I called up to ask them to remove the chocolate component and was assured it didn't even come with this on anyway. Crepe arrived and low and behold, it contained chocolate. I rang back and was told it is standard that this comes on it, so contradictory to what I was initially told and I'd rang specifically so this wasn't the case. They told me they'd bring another one round but this was a fair amount of time after I'd ordered and was now unwanted, so I within right, asked for a refund. Was told that he would speak to the manager and call me back. I am still waiting for the phone call to this day. I have messaged through google, Instagram and have not received a response. The acknowledgment was there from them answering the phone, just not interested in taking action. Safe to say I will not...

Disappointing. We ordered from Southport Eats. This was the first order from Hey Burger and we will not order again. Food flavour was okay, arrived warm and on time. But the amount and value for money was very poor. My son had an original XL Burger and fries. It was comparable to a McDonald's double cheeseburger and fries. However it was twice the price He also had a strawberry junction crepe. This was cold, chewy and pathetic. Digestive biscuit was missing and it really needed a big dollop of clotted cream to make it worthwile. I had signature fries, luckily I wasn't very hungry. Served in a small burger box, I counted 6 small pieces of chopped up chicken, on top of a miserly portion of fries, smothered in melted cheese slices, it was overwhelmed with jalapeño peppers. Certainly not worth £5.99. At a total of over £26, including delivery, we definitely will...
