I love giving good reviews. That's the whole reason to to this on the Google. Good places deserve the attention... However, this place just made something mad yesterday.. I was looking for a good place for some food and a nice drink. Somewhere new on our anniversary. Found this little 'gem' on the shopping street in the heart of Southport. Big windows, great to see people around, while enjoying the food and drink. First of all, was really hard to. Understand the waitress at the time of order. She was surprised whatever we asked for. So, one all day breakfast (well done) and one fish and chips with garden peas and curry sauce (as the menu says - apart from the curry, as that was my special request. Also ordered 2 smoothies. The waiting time altogether was circa 20 mins (food arrived quicker than the drink!). They served me gravy and mushy peas. I took back to the counter, and requested the curry again and the garden peas. The waitress said they have never had any garden peas, and asked for apologies for the gravy. In the background the chef was. Pretty upset, as he had to put some curry sauce in the microwave. All done.. Oh no, not really! They made a mix of blended berries with a hand (!!!) mixer as a smoothie. Nothing else, only the fruits. Tasted horrible. Full with seeds.. English breakfast was well undercooked - regardless of our request. Fish and chips... Fish was undercooked, and the butter inside was raw. It was just disgusting. We don't get up. Every morning to argue with other people. Staff on the phone, literally shouting (probably Turkish), laughing all time, with no stop. Instead of taking their time to prepare nice food what takes as much time as making this raw horrible food. They don't care. They only want the money (what they defenetaly don't deserve) even if you don't go back again. Nice location... I just don't understand these businesses.. Anyway. We just left this place, with no argues.
DO NOT...

" To place tables and chairs on the pavement outside of a business, you need a pavement license. The license allows you to use temporary furniture, such as tables and chairs, on the public highway next to your business. However, you should ensure that the placement of your seating does not block or impede other pedestrians, (street furniture)...
Read moreOrdered two full breakfasts, wish we hadn't. Cost £8.00 each way too much, for what you get, it was awful too, even my dog turned her nose up at it. They fill your plate up with toast, too give the impression your getting a plate full. Toast should be on its own plate, not swimming around in the juice from the canned tomatoes, yuk. Sausages, bacon and egg were all awful, so don't waste your money. The cappuccino was disgusting, and it was not just me, a couple on the next table sent their Lattes back and when they were replaced, they didn't drink them either and left, so something wrong with the brand of coffee they are using. For god sake change it. You charge enough for it. The only good thing about this place is you can take...
