The place is disgusting, 2 lads preparing food one behind the chips making burgers scratching his scalp and touching food, the Asian lad boxing the food touching his head every 2 seconds and scratching his scalp, had to cancel the order and get a refund! The place is also stinking all the tables are dirty and kiosks are filthy, lastly the young skinny lad with the beard should have a net mask on over his beard it’s a legal requirement , read below KFC! Save the excuse of the reply and do something about it !
Hair in food can lead to the growth of unwanted bacteria and is unappetizing, potentially causing foodborne illnesses. Food handlers with direct contact with food must wear hair restraints to prevent contamination. Violations of food safety hair rules can lead to health code infractions and negatively impact business reputation. Training on proper hair restraint is crucial for food handlers to understand the risks and proper methods to prevent contamination. Using protective restraints like hair nets or caps is the best way to prevent hair from falling into food during preparation. All food employees involved directly with food preparation, such as kitchen staff and food production workers, need to wear hair restraints. Employees who do not have direct contact with unpackaged foods, like bar staff or servers, are not required to wear hair restraints. Food handlers with long hair should keep it neatly tied and covered to avoid any potential contamination. Adhering to the FDA Food Code is crucial, as it mandates that food businesses ensure all applicable employees wear hair restraints to prevent food safety hazards. FoodDocs' Food Safety Management software helps teams consistently monitor hygiene tasks, including hair...
Read moreI'll give this place a grand total of 2, and that's only because it's KF and the foods sound at the end of the day, especially hangover weekend days. Anyway, the other day i went to cure my hangover with the colonels finest. Ordered all my gear and specifically asked the walking dead who handed me my food "are my hotwings and gravy in there?" Got told everything was sound so went home to treat my now life threatening hangover! No hotwings, no mini fillets and a twister wrap down! Granted the gravy was there like but are they having a laugh? Back the KFC after a phone call to the manager explaining the issues and agreeing my order would be sorted and ready to go by the time i got there. Got there and waited 25 minutes for them to sort my food out while they served every other person who walked in after me and discussed the latest game of thrones. When the harps started playing and the golden gates opened i was presented with my prize for enduring the most pain in the arse drive through trip in the history of pain in the arse drive through trips! Didn't make it to the door before shock horror, they had renewed everything but left out the most important thing, 2 large gravys!! The only good thing to come out of it was i noticed before i left and the hills have eyes sorted it for me before serving someone else. For all of the above it gets a 2, the one on the Lancs would get a zero though, tells you how grim it is there, back to no drive through and County...
Read moreI've visited this outlet several times now due to the convenience of its location only to be disappointed time and time again, and now vow never to return. I appreciate that on occasion the site can be busy and waiting inside the restaurant doesn't afford you any advantage over the drive thru as the vehicle based customers clearly take priority over orders placed inside. However, there is commonly a multitude of JustEat/Deliveroo couriers waiting for extensive orders which only cause further delay. Now I'm patient and can wait and wait, but then either my order is wrong, has missing items and most recently, has barely warm food, well obviously half of my request is completed and then sat on the side in an open bag whilst other aspects are completed or another online or vehicle order is attended to. Drive Thru mistakes have also happened forcing you to then park and go in and eventually complain once you can get someone to stop and acknowledge your query. Frankly it's just no good enough and I can excuse mistakes on an isolated occasion, but on each of the four visits I have made there has always, always been an issue. Won't be going there again, somehow the Southport Ocean Plaza site seems not to suffer with the same dramas. Aintree is...
