KFC Southport - Ocean Plaza — Restaurant in Sefton

Just visited this kfc in southport. Now I know why I haven't been here for years. The mobile ordering was switched off. Who knows why and I tried to register with the cashier for their kfc arcade game with a QR code but obviously it didn't work as I never got the chance to win anything as it said I had not ordered recently. The original recipe chicken I ordered a five pieces as a meal I asked for thigh pieces as usually they are the juiciest but got totally ignored. My chicken was probably the worst I've had from kfc yet. It was so dry even the skin like its been sat in a warmer cabinet for the last hour or so. Even the skin was dry. Usually I have to wash my hands as they get covered in juices but this time it was like sandpaper. To be honest I'm glad I didn't get all thigh pieces as the three thighs I got were not only dry but they barely had any chicken on them. Whether it had dried up when it was fried I dont know but all I got was skin and BONES!! LITERALLY BONES with scraps of tiny dry meat and dry skin. Won't be going here again unless it nearly closing time and they are cooking fresh chicken to get them too closing time. Everything also seemed too much for the staff virtually throwing you order at you across the counter. I also noticed they must of had nearly forty portions of fries sitting under the hot lamps. No wonder the fries were also dark dry luke warm but limp instead of fresh crispy...

Been again since the bottom part of this post. October 2023 - the service is a joke, the food took literally 20mins, hardly any staff and the ones that did show up to work were slow and ignorant, they give out the bottle of pop with our meal when it was finally ready but don’t give me the cups, so I went back to get some and was ignored for 5 minutes, so I leaned over the counter and grabbed the cups myself!! Also the floor was covered in old food, the tables again were filthy, everything about this place it rotten, the staff, the service and the facilities too! I’ve added some more images to show the filth! KFC need to get a grip. If I was the manager of this place everyone would be fired and new people would be re-trained

This place is shocking! Filthy dirty nast! Takes forever to order, then you wait ages for it. Then they don’t even give or offer cups for the drink nor offer plates. Literally all the tables were sat with trays on them filled with rubbish and the ones that weren’t were just covered in crumbs and stickyness. We moved twice not to find a clean table but to find a lesser dirty one. I looked around for some spray and a cloth which I saw by the bin to clean the table myself. My Bad experience at KFC Ocean plaza! After finding a hair in my chicken on 28-10-2017 after I went to the drive thru I contacted KFC Customer Services and thought they where dealing with my complaint! After about 6 emails I contacted them and asked if I was getting a refund of £17.58 of our family meal. They told me the Area Manager Tom said to go in and get a refund with my receipt and letter from customer service. Having had a big operation on my foot and being in a cast I only managed to go in today.I Spoke to Apparently the Store manager a young girl who's Customer Service Skills are absolutely shocking and in need of training! To be told she would offer me a meal. I explained to her that I didn't want another meal and I wanted my money back. KFC Customer Service had spoken to the Area Manager Tom who had Authorised her to do so! But Because I got a Goodwill £10 voucher from Customer Service because of the hair I found in the chicken I couldn't have my money back. I went outside called customer service again who called the store to speak to the manager to tell her to give me my money back informed me that the store manager had already left for the day so they couldn't speak to her.
