Thoroughly enjoyed the walk along the pier and the Old penny machines were lots of fun and brought back great memories! The building is fabulous and has amazing views, it's also a great place to heat up after being blown along! If you're not up to the walk, there is a great little train to take you there and back. However, I think the cafe was a bit disappointing, it could do with a greater selection of dishes, perhaps baked potatoes or tasty soup! Read moreWe had a great morning at the pier pavilion today, I brought my four year old there to meet some friends, we had a lovely time playing the penny arcade games especially the fruit race machine that all three of them could play together(they had great fun playing it).We all enjoyed a coffee/soft drink together and although we gave the young lady at the counter a bit of a nightmare with kids changing their minds she looked after us with good humour and a smile on her face. The cafe at the bottom is a nice little rest spot for a coffee in both good and bad weather but the penny arcade is a bit if a let down.
The same 5 machines spread about all over the place with regular arcade machines, albeit extremely old, dotted around the place charging £1 a go.
